 ABSTRACT

This study aimed to develop a Hotel Booking System where everyone can have access,
and booked their but can assure the security of their personal information are safe. Researchers
create this study for people to have easier and deeper understanding about the booking system of
a hotel. To establish a booking system where accessible by everyone who wants to visit the
website. To make online reservation easy and fast by just filling up and clicking anywhere a
costumer are by just having a internet connection. Nowadays, a booking system can be access by
anyone, but not all of them can make a reservation because some can’t understand how the
website works, some cannot have access because the site has slow speed, some of them choose to
leave. The researchers want to improve this by making the system faster and easier to access by
everyone but at the same time have a high security where it can store their information at the
same time make sure it was safe in the system and only accessible by the Admins. The hotel
online booking system was created to expand, facilitate and secure the process of accepting
customers who are looking for accommodation without any hassle and freely observe the facility.
The system serves as the first step to obtain customer information and reservations. Customer
information is sure to be secure and safe.

PROBLEM AND IT’S BACKGROUND

INTRODUCTION

Modern system already exists in our world, many things have been invented and done
using technology. The modern world has made things easier and more high-tech for everyone but
the pandemic made things conflict everywhere. Perks of having online system is a person whose
interested in something, can surf through online. One of the examples is looking for a hotel to
book.

The Booking System is a computerized system that can be access through online by those
who are willing to make a reservation in a hotel. The researchers come up on the idea to provide
a great website that focuses on costumers wants and fast transactions while surfing anywhere.
This system can access through any gadget that has wireless internet or mobile data. Many
tourists and locals like to travel to any place but having problem where they can stay. The online
booking system is a big help in finding a place to stay that can be seen and observed including
reservation and payment.

The system needs the costumer information to be able to create a reservation. After
deciding what they want to avail, a customer need to fill up the system. They have to input
they’re personal information to make booking. Every costumer should pay at least 10% for the
reservation fee. When the admin receives the payment, the system will send a confirmation
through email and contact number.

 PROJECT STATEMENT

The propose research is about online booking reservation. Hotel Online booking System
is a popular method for booking hotel rooms. Travelers can book rooms on a computer by using
online security to protect their privacy and financial information. Hotel Online Booking System
also helps in making last minute travel arrangements. Before the Internet, travelers could write,
call the hotel directly, or use a travel agent to make a reservation. Nowadays, we have the
internet or hotel online booking system so that we can know the information of each hotel room,
prices and deals, and even all the information of hotels. Hotel Online Booking System also helps
for last minute travel arrangements. The hotel may lower the price of a room if some rooms are
still available. An online hotel booking system, commonly known as a central reservation system
is a computerized system that stores and distributes a hotel's information. A computerized
reservation system helps hoteliers manage all their online marketing and sales where they can
upload their available services for people to see.

 APROACH AND METHOD

The researchers conduct idea about hotel reservation system

using codes in the internet. The researcher surf online and checks several hotel
reservation systems, almost all of them are just through text message and they
don’t have websites. This gave the ideas on creating a reservation system and
how the system going to work. By creating a system where it can benefit the
customer and the creators. The possible methods that the researchers are going
to use is the methods where the sequence of creating a system will flow
smoothly. Where it can be maintained and update regularly to be at its good
condition.

 Preliminary result and Discussion

The goal of hotel booking online system is to make the customer booked their
reservation. To access accommodation and less risk for their safety and to make the
system useful for the clients. Researchers create output by brainstorming about the
system using Apache NetBeans. A traveler/Guest have to fill up the system needs before
confirming their reservation. The design of the system is simple, it's easy to see what
should a traveler do before making a reservation. After clicking the register, the system
will send the guest a confirmation code that they are now booked to the hotel. The
system will also list the guest confirmed reservation to the system's data where it can be
seen by the Admins

 To have a smooth working system

 To fulfill the needs of having system that can accommodate hotel bookings.
 To provide fast and accurate services to the clients.
 Speed up transaction among clients.

 Work Plan

The hotel reservation system is open Monday to Sunday. It’s operating

time are 24hours per day. Researchers decided to make the working hours of the
hotel system 24/7. By doing this, everyone can have access to the hotel website
whenever they can and can make reservations anytime they want. This working
time will be advantage to those who have sudden decision making.

 IMPLICATION OF RESEARCH

The developers aim to develop a system to handle the reservations since not all Hotel are using a
system, others still use the manual system in handling reservations and payments. This system
will help those people who wants to make a reservation in a hotel anywhere they are. To make
things easier for them, it allows the customer to pick whatever they want or whenever they want
to go to the said building. Guest that don’t have time to line up just to make a reservation, and
those who are impatience. By having this system, the work are going to be easier and more fast
for the Clients and the Employees. Overall, the admin has the outmost power throughout the
website. The developers made the reservations page easy to use. The available rooms or cottages
are displayed and there is also a form that the customer can fill to book for reservation on the
wanted room/cottage. Then the administrator will approve the said reservation and an agreement
will be made about the payment mode of the customer which can be discussed upon via contact
number or e-mail.
