For the Master of Ceremonies

Recognition Day Program

SY 2021-2022
Monday, May 30, 2022
10:30 am - 12:00 nn (Grades 7 - 9)

Kassy: A magnificent morning to everyone, I am Teacher Kassy.

Abby: And I am Teacher Abby, and it is our great pleasure to be your master of ceremonies for
today.

Kassy: I would like to request all the faculty members, the executive team, and our beloved
speaker to please go to the entrance for the processional.
Kassy: Let the processional begin.

After the Processional:

Abby: We would like to welcome you all to our 21st Recognition Rites with the DepEd theme of
“K to 12 Graduates: Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the Face of Adversity” and
theme verse “I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which
God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." Philippians 3:14
Kassy: Let’s give a round of applause to the faculty members, the executive team, and our guest
speaker.
Abby: To preside, let us all rise and hear the opening prayer to be led by Rogelio Belga Jr. from
the grade 7 class, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem "Lupang Hinirang"
to be accompanied by the CGS Ensemble under the tutelage of Sir Winfred Hilao.

After the National Anthem:

Abby: Please be seated.

Kassy: We would like to acknowledge the presence of our officials. We have with us our Guest of
Honor, Dr. Kim Elijah Torio (alumnus, Batch 2015), School Head, Ma’am Ma. Angelita Marina
K. Roa, School Principal, Ma’am Cristine A. Enomis, Administrative Officer, Ma’am Mary Vi C.
Caldona, members of the faculty and staff, CGS PTA Officers, members of the Board of
Trustees, FCF Pastors, and guests. Of course, we would also like to acknowledge the parents
and our dear students.
Kassy: May I invite Ma’am Ma. Angelita Marina K. Roa, our ever gentle, loving, and kind
School Head, to give us her welcome address. Let us give her a big hand.
After the Welcome Address:
Abby: Thank you, Ma’am Roa, for such a gladdening welcome address. Today is a euphoric day.
Today is the day wherein all of our students’ hard work and perseverance paid off. We hope all
students will not stop achieving their dreams, and they will continue to strive as what
Philippians 3:14 says “…press on toward the goal which God called you heavenward through
Christ Jesus…”
And now, let us listen and be inspired by our Guest of Honor, Dr. Kim Elijah Torio, magna cum
laude and top 1 in the recently released optometry national exam. A big round of applause.

Abby: Thank you so much, Dr. Torio for imparting words of wisdom and encouragement.

Intermission Number:

Kassy: The selected students from the grade 8 class will enliven us through their intermission
number entitled "Salamat". Let's give them a big hand.

Kassy: That was an impressive performance, thank you students!
