Checked SPORTSFEST MC SCRIPT 2023
Erianne: With cheerful smiles and lively spirits, we are all gathered here once
again to indulge and pamper ourselves with the activity most of us
kids love a lot- PLAY!
Renan: Yes! That’s right Erianne. This is the perfect time to have fun, run
around even under the heat of the sun, and laugh our hearts out.
However, we are here not only to perspire but most importantly to
inspire ourselves in developing our skills and interest in sports and
recreation.
Erianne: Indeed Renan! We are here to learn the values of sportsmanship and
teamwork.
Both: Hence, we welcome everyone to this Enfant Cheri Family Sportsfest
2023.
Renan: To start, let us all rise for the opening prayer to be led by Kisha
Christabelle G. Bernat a Grade-9 Empathy Pupil and please remain
standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and Enfant
Cheri Hymn with Teacher Michelle G. Gardiola conducting.
Renan: I’m sure everyone is now kicking to get the games started. But before
we go playing, may I call in Juri Gabriel Canaveral, Noel Vincent P.
Pedrosa, and Mr. Jake B. Tanguihan for the torch relay and lighting of
the cauldron.
Erianne: To keep the spirit of sportsmanship alive in every heart of the players,
the torch and cauldron must be lighted.
The blazing fire symbolizes the unwavering aim for the best while
keeping the value of humility as winners and graciousness as losers.
Renan: At this juncture, we will recite “The Oath of Amateurism” with the
Lagas Family, leading.
Erianne: To formally open this activity, may I call in Teacher Mar Gil M.
Gardiola, our School Principal. A round of applause for him!
Renan: Thank you Teacher Rydyll. Let us remember this as Fred Perry said,
“Tactics, fitness, stroke, ability, adaptability, experience, and
sportsmanship are all necessary for winning”.
Erianne: Cherians, are you ready to play? (Wait for the answer…)
Both: So, let the game begin!
Renan: I turn you over to our game facilitators to give us the mechanics and
facilitate the exciting games that they have prepared for us today.
Erianne: God bless everyone and may the best team wins!
PART II.
Erianne: The games we played were exciting and fun-filled, weren’t they? Did
you enjoy fellow Cherians? (Pupil’s answer)
Renan: I hope that answer comes with satisfaction and of course with values
learned in the spirit of sportsmanship.
Erianne: I hope you do find this experience worth memorable to look forward
to in next year’s sports festival. To all the winners’ congratulations!
To those who did not make it, do your best next time!
Renan: This has been your host, Renan Wayne M. Paderog
Erianne: and Erianne Krystal Villafuerte
Both: Saying Happy 13th Founding Anniversary, Enfant Cheri! May the
Lord God Almighty bless us all!
