Statement of the Problem (Sir Virgilio)

The purpose of this study was to assess and make use of the Class Point tool for teaching
BTVTED students majoring in Food and Service Management in Marikina Polytechnic College,
during the 2023–2024 academic year.

More specifically, this will find answers to the following questions:

1. What are the use of classpoint to solve online learning issues in terms of the following
variables:
a. Poor internet connection;
b. Complicated user- interface:

2. Are there significant differences in the perceptions of the two groups of respondents on
utilization of classpoint for teaching in terms of the above-mentioned-variables?

3. What are observable signs that the respondents experience greater interaction and
engagement with their students and when Classpoint is used as a quiz tool in the class
in terms of the following variables:
a. Student Engagement;
b. Students Centered Lesson;
c. Subject Knowledge Testing:

4. Are there significant differences in the perceptions of the two groups of respondents on
utilization of classpoint for teaching in terms of the above-mentioned-variables?

5. What was the evaluation of the respondents on using classpoint for teaching in terms of the

The Perception of using Class Point as assessment tool for online teaching at

Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to evaluate and utilize the ClassPoint Tool in teaching Barista

at Marikina Polytechnic College, School Year 2022 – 2023.

Specifically, it sought answers the following questions;

1. What were the topics in Barista that were developed as ICT-Based

Instructional Materials and presented with ClassPoint?

2. What was the evaluation of the experts and Food and Service Management

teachers on the developed ICT- Based Instructional Materials presented with ClassPoint

for Barista in terms of the following:

a. Content and Instruction;

b. Pedagogy;/

c. Assessment; and

d. Ease of Use?
