Formulation Process of Bleaching Liquid (Orginal Recipe) )

The document outlines the formulation process of a bleaching liquid. It involves mixing sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite in a multi-step process with settling and filtration. Specific quantities and process parameters like temperature, mixing speed, and containment are provided to achieve the desired bleach concentration while ensuring no sediment or particles remain in the final product. Final process points will be determined through product trials including quality analysis and time/mixing factors.

Formulation Process of Bleaching Liquid

(Original)
Ingredients:
 Sodium Hydroxide (99%)
 Sodium Hypochlorite (16%)

Process Methodology: Mixing + Settling + Filtration

Step 1: Take 14 Gram of Sodium Hydroxide Mixer I and pour the water (14 Gram) and mix it well,
the mixture will turn milky and hot let the mixture cool down and to be cleared.
Step 2: Take Sodium Hypochlorite (300 Gram) and add 686 Distill Water in the Mixer 1I.mix for
10 minutes.
Step 3: Now Add Mixture I material in Mixer II and mix then for 15 minutes
Step 4: Leave the solution for settling for 3 days in Settling Container.
Step 5: After 3 days filter the solution with Commercial Filter Paper or Filtered Cloth and then again
wait for 24 hours and get the discharge of it from top in both cases (Filtration & Packaging)
Note: Purpose of Filtration is ensure that there is no Sediment or Suspended
Particles in Final Product.

Final Process: (Points to be finalized other than Production Procedure during Product Trials)
 Bleach Concentration need to be maintained 4.75 or more.
 Evaluate the Final Product in Quality Analysis ( Quality Parameters standard will mutually
set with consultation of KIPL)
 Time Factor and mixing speed will be decided after trail at KIPL Factory.

Process Conditions:

 Temperature: 25 to 30 Degree Celsius

 RPM: Should be adjusted as the mixer don’t make Splashing or Vortex. (SOP’s) On
Production Phase)
 It should be fully closed container with close top end while the process.
Note: The quantity of the ingredients will be decided by Production Department as per their
production scales
