1. Introduction
Describe what you are going to write about in this document.

Explain who your portfolio is aimed at and what its purpose is. What styles and features may
appeal to potential employers. You should tailor the portfolio to showcase your skills and
achievements, and produce an original design to set your application apart from those of the
other people who apply.

Describe your storyboard (i.e. sections 1, 2, 3 and 4)


Today I will be designing my own portfolio and the purpose of this is to create my own website.
My portfolio is mainly aimed at myself and whoever is interested. The colors for this portfolio
will be green and black. This is because these colors are not bland and dull, they are bright and
less boring.

2. User Requirements.

This is from the project brief. What will employers expect to see on the website and how will they

access it. .

On this website employers will expect to see

Things about me . For example, my phone number, location and information about me. They will
want to know all my social accounts such as instagram and snapchat.

3. Styles.
Include and describe your colour scheme and mood board.

The color scheme for my mood board will be bright colors and not dark colors. Lighter

colors are more flashy and eye-catching for this mood board as they are not boring. These

colors are going to be green and red. This color combo goes very well. My mood board will

have a footer and a logo.

4. Home Page
Start this section with the aim and purpose of the website and it’s target audience.

Give a brief overview of the site, which pages it will include etc.

Include a screen mockup to show what the screen will look like.

The aim and purpose of IT and technology.this will include loads of information about this

subject and will provide you with loads of images. This is mainly aimed at whoever is

interested in IT and technology.

5. Profile Page

2.1. About Me.

Include name, age, which school(s) and college(s) you have been to, subjects you study, future

plans and why you selected IT.

Finish this section with some information about yourself, such as hobbies etc.

My name is Ameen Shah and I am 16 years old. The secondary school I used to go to is

Oasis Academy Lister Park. At the moment I am currently studying in shipley college. The

course I am doing is Ict level 2. My future plans are to move on to ict level 3 and finish off

this course to get a qualification in IT. I picked this course because it seemed interesting to

me and I found it easy. My hobbies are playing football.

2.2. Purpose.

Describe why you have created this portfolio, how it will be split into different sections and why

you have chosen the work to include that you have.

I have created this portfolio because I am going to send this to potential employers.

- It is easier to be split into two because it is more accessible

Write about the importance of planning what you are going to do in the future and Include a

3.1 Next Steps

Write what you want to do next and how you will achieve that.

Next I will be planning everything about how to create a website and will be creating one.

By achieving this I will have to use weebly.

In the next two years I will hopefully be finishing this IT course and getting a level 3

qualification.

3.3 Five Year Plan

Write what you want to be doing in five years and how you will achieve that.

After i get a level 3 qualification I will hopefully find a job linked with it.

On my website i will be showing what units i have been doing so far. I have studied unit 1

and 3 and 2 and 9 and 13.

Is an exam based unit.

In this unit we have answered questions and made moodboards for our digital portfolio.

8. Design Justification.

I have chosen this design because it is linked with it and it is aimed at anyone who likes and

is interested in it.

Also write about how the assets you used enhance the user experience.

Dark colors and a light font will be very easy to see for people who have bad eyesight.
