ACTIVITIES Pre – Lesson :
1. Teacher begins the lesson by writing two examples of sentences on board
2. Pupils answer and detect that the sentences are both Present Tenses
3. Pupils then detect the differences between the tenses
4. Pupils distinguish the sentence for Present Simple and Present Continuous
5. Teacher revised on the topic of the day

While- lesson :
1. Teacher poses a list of recap questions on Present Simple in a hang out
2. Pupils take 10 minutes to try
3. After a while, several pupils are chosen to share their answers
4. Teacher discusses as a class
5. Then teacher proceeds with a list of recap questions for Present Continuous
6. Pupils take 10 minutes to try
7. After a while, several pupils are chosen to share their answers

1. Understand specific details and information from a post card and advertisement
2. understand the main ideas and details from a post card and advertisement
3. give information about themselves when they sign up for something
4. write a short message telling about his/her own experience
ACTIVITIES Pre Lesson :
1. Teacher starts the lesson by asking the pupils if they have gone outings such as camping before
2. Teacher asks them if they had done activities such as make up a tent and set up a fire
3. After the discussion, teacher tells them that there is a way for the pupils to lean all these skills
in our country and during their free time

While Lesson :
1. Teacher then proceeds to the hang out on a post card and advertisement about hobbies and
interests
2. Teacher poses questions to the pupils as they scan through the texts given
3. Pupils work individually given the hang outs
4. Then, as a class, pupils work together to complete the post card and advertise their favourite
and respective hobbies or interest during free time
5. Every pupil is required to share his / her own post card and advertise his/her own hobby and
interest
6. After the presentation, teacher discusses the activity as a class

Post Lesson :
1. For post lesson activity, each pupils is required to share three reasons to choose to do the
hobbies
2. After that, teacher and pupils mark the hang outs together
3. Teacher concludes the lesson

REFLECTION : 1. When reading and scanning through text, pupils were to underlined vocabulary words or
phrases that they do not understand. Then, they are compulsory to copy and revise the meanings
of them after discussion and guidance as a class from the teacher
2. Teacher is to explain difficult words and phrases to several weaker pupils, the class is required
to jot down the words as notes.

1. understand the main points from an article about family and relationships by completing short texts
2. understand specific details and information from the text by filing in the blanks with the most suitable
answers
ACTIVITIES Pre – Lesson :
1. Teacher begins the lesson by posing questions about the pupils’ families
2. Pupils answer and share about their families and their upbringings in home
3. Pupils then also shared on their personal feelings about having families and starting their own family when
they grow up in future
4. Pupils then given text about “Family” in a sheet by the teacher
5. Teacher then revised on the topic of the day

While- lesson :
1. Teacher poses a text of questions based from the text given
2. Pupils take 10 minutes to try and complete the questions based on the text
3. After a while, several pupils are chosen to share their answers
4. Teacher discusses as a class
5. Then teacher proceeds with HOTS questions about families
6. Pupils must give three benefits having family and siblings
7. Pupils also must share their personal opinions on living away from family (joining boarding school, etc)
6. Pupils take 20 minutes to try

1. Teacher starts the lesson by introducing an email writing to the pupils
2. The pupils recap the format of email writing to the class
3. After the discussion, teacher writes the question and task of the day

While Lesson :
1. Teacher then proceeds to the email question
2. Teacher picks several pupils to detect the Thesis Statement, The Keypoints and The Situation
stated from the mail
3. Teacher then discusses as a class
3. Pupils work individually given the mail
4. Then, as a class, in 15 minutes, pupils work together to complete reply mail based on the
question
5. Every pupil is required to share his / her own answer
6. After the presentation, teacher discusses the activity as a class

Post Lesson :
1. For post lesson activity, each pupils is required to reflect on having a partner in doing their
hobbies
2. After that, teacher and pupils mark the answers together
