I. DESCRIPTION

Deforestation are one of the serious problems that our generation are currently
experiencing. The global decline of forest areas that are sacrificed to other purposes,
such as farming, urban development, or mining operations. Our world is polluted, they
are usually caused by factories and other facilities that produces pollution. One of the
reasons why our trees are decreasing is because of the Modern Civilization. Cutting
down trees to establish factories that produces Pollutions. These trees are essential for
the Human life. The Barrier that stopped the Humans to go Extinct is massively
decreasing to a Red Line. Climate change is one of the effects of deforestation. A
phenomenon that can wipe out the entire Human Race to Extinct.

II. RESEARCH PROPOSAL

To whom it may concern,

Greetings!

This proposal is for the Grade 10 students, they will be conducting a

research project that will serve as a final grade for the English and Mathematics
subject. The researcher is asking for your cooperation to participate in our research,
with a topic of “The Negative Impacts of Deforestation Between Humanity and
Communities.”

Your cooperation is highly appreciated, thank you!

III. BODY

Human activities endanger entire ecosystems, causing natural imbalances,

and endangering life. The natural world is complicated, interrelated, and made up of
thousands of interdependencies, and trees, among other things, provide shade and
lower temperatures for animals and smaller trees or vegetation that may not live in
direct sunshine. Soil erosion affects 52% of the land used for food production today.
Long-term, a lack of healthy, nutritious soil can result in low yields and food poverty.

Climate change, desertification, soil erosion, less crops, floods, higher

greenhouse gases in the environment, and a slew of other issues for Indigenous
people can all result from the loss of trees and other plants.

Forests throughout the world are under threat, putting these advantages at
risk. Deforestation and forest degradation are two manifestations of the dangers.
Agriculture is the primary cause of deforestation (although badly built infrastructure
is also a major danger), and illicit logging is the primary cause of forest degradation.

Research Questions
- What is your insight about Climate change?
- Do you often encounter articles about global warming?
- Are you experiencing climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops,
and flooding in your community?
- What do you think are the main causes of deforestation?
- How can we prevent deforestation?

This study will take a multifaceted strategy to undertake a thorough investigation of

this issue. It will look at the many points of view on what others believe about
deforestation. The study questions will be used to assess the respondents' views and
opinions.
IV. PRIMARY DATA

According to the data that I collected, 33.3% of the respondents agreed that they
repeatedly experience climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, and
flooding in their communities. However, 6.7% of them agreed that they haven't
experienced these calamities in their communities. While the other 60% said that they
sometimes experience these calamities.

One respondent said that cutting trees, illegal logging, urbanizations, wood
extraction, and factories are one of the main causes of deforestation. 26.7% of the
respondents agreed that they always encountered articles about global warming, while
60% of them sometimes encounter articles about global warming. One of the
respondents said, "Spread more awareness and strengthen laws about protecting the
environment". 13.3% of them haven't been seeing articles about global warming.

Based on this data, many respondents agreed that they sometimes experience
these types of calamities in their areas which sometimes are also caused by greedy
capitalism that takes anything that might benefit them financially.

The respondents replied that by planting trees, using less papers, recycling,
spreading awareness, avoiding mining, and minimizing cutting trees, therefore I
conclude, we can prevent deforestation.

V. SECONDARY DATA

Why is deforestation happening? According to the FAO, agriculture causes

around 80% of deforestation. And how does agriculture cause so much deforestation?
According to the same report, 33% of agriculture-caused deforestation is a
consequence of subsistence agriculture – such as local peasant agriculture in
developing countries.

Commercial or industrial agriculture (field crops and livestock) cause around

40% of forest loss – in the search for space to grow food, fibers, or biofuel (such as
soybeans, palm oil, beef, rice, maize, cotton and sugar cane). It is also particularly
interesting to note livestock is believed to be responsible for about 14% of global
deforestation. The main reasons why have to do with the large areas require both to
raise livestock but also to grow its (soy-based) food.
VI. SUMMARY RESEARCH

To summarize, deforestation should be regarded seriously. It has an impact on

the entire environment. Climate change is one of the most serious issues confronting
the planet today. Climate change is causing harm to both humans and animals. It has
gotten worse as a result of extreme heat and unusual weather. Because of the high
number of incidents of heatstroke, cancer, and other illnesses. They continued to act as
if nothing had occurred, despite the fact that many people, including animals, had
suffered. Agriculture is one of the main causes of deforestation, as is illegal logging,
which involves chopping down trees to make items such as paper, pencils, and
furniture.

VII. STATISTICAL GRAPH

VIII. CONCLUSION

Deforestation has several detrimental effects on humans and communities. This

research is being undertaken to further our understanding of what has been going on in
our planet. This is a phenomenon that has the potential to drive the human race extinct.
Our planet is contaminated, and contemporary civilizations are growing. There are
several factories that have been developed that potentially pose a threat. The global loss
of forest areas surrendered for other uses such as urban expansion, mining activities,
and agriculture.

These human actions harmed our ecosystems, produced natural imbalances, and
put our lives in jeopardy. Forests are under threat all around the world, putting these
benefits at risk. Many of us are affected by climate change, desertification, and soil
erosion.

IX. MORAL VALUES

Begin by encouraging people to raise awareness of our ecosystems. Begin by

supporting environmentally conscious businesses. Promote forest conservation
measures and sustainable agriculture. Raising awareness about deforestation in your
social circle and neighborhood may be quite beneficial. Every individual has the ability
to affect change; we should focus on developing additional options that inspire people
to care for and assist our environment. It is critical for us humans to be able to eat on a
regular basis; we acquire our food from trees and plants; without them, how would we
feed? Regardless of our culture, color, or religion, we must all work together to protect
the environment.
