A. CURRICULUM CONTENT

1. Creates mechanism in addressing curriculum content


development guided by BASIC (balance, articulation,
sequencing, integration and continuity) principle.

SCHOOL BASED MECHANISM ON CURRICULUM CONTENT DEVELOPMENT

The Covid – 19 outbreaks have coerced the majority of learning institutions to


immediately switch to distance learning modalities such as Online, Modular and Blended
distance learning. The Department of Education opt to ensure that learning must continue
amidst the continuing threat of Covid-19, to cope the new normal. As well they presented
different frameworks, strategies and innovations that can lead us to the new norms of
educational system and promulgates the memorandum on Distance Learning Modality.

Hapay na Mangga Elementary School Taytay Sub- Office, Division of Rizal as an


educational institution took all deliberate actions since our learners are temporarily unable to
attend in- person because of COVID -19 cases and remote learning is therefore temporarily
implemented, the school put in policies to ensure that students continue to access high-
quality of learning. Hapay na Mangga Elem School choose the Modular and Blended
Distance Learning as the mode of delivering learning as it best applies to our learners and
the community.

Teachers made a self-video lesson that can be serve as their references, and
additional learnings as the pupils and parents answers their modules at their home.
