III. PROCEDURE:
A. Preparatory Activities
1. Drill
- Good Morning class, before we start our lesson this morning, I have here some
flash cards here. Stand if it is verb and sit if it is not.
2. Review
a. Recall previous concept
- Class, what was our previous lesson?
- Very good! Our previous lesson was all about verb.
- Okay, what is verb?
- Very Good! A verb is a word that expresses an action or a state of being.
- Who can give me an example of a verb?
- Good job!
b. Checking of homework
- Class, do we have an assignment?
- Okay class, get you assignment notebook and we will check it.
c. 3-items check-up test
- Now class, get a piece of paper and answer this.
B. Lesson Proper
1. Motivation/Presentation
- First, let’s define adverb, it’s a part of speech that describes a verb, an adjective,
or another adverb. And, there are six major types of adverbs:
Pungwayon sa pamaagi - adverb of manner
Pungwayon sa katagi - adverb of degree
Pungwayon sa panahon - adverb of time
Pungwayon sa kasubsob - adverb of frequency
Pungwayon sa dapit - adverb of place
Pungwayon sa katarongan - adverb of reason
(The teacher presents sentences with pictures for motivation, and let students
read and observe each sentences, in chorus.)
2. Developmental Activities
a. Setting of Standards
(The teacher will ask the learners the standards in having group work.
