What’s new?
Consumption Licensing
In 23.4 UiPath Apps is introducing a long-
awaited, consumption-based licensing model
Consumption Pricing Considerations
• Primary Use Cases
- Public-facing apps* whose users are unauthenticated (anonymous)
- Enterprise-facing (internal) apps whose users don’t have Named
User Licenses (these use cases tend to involve unattended
automations and/or Data Service)
• You can purchase usage-based App Units for your unlicensed users
- Sold in bundles of 60K units.
- 0.5 App unit is consumed each time an app is launched
• Designing an app requires a Named User License
- Named users can still create and consume unlimited apps
* Please note, while you can offer your customers and partners tremendous value via open/public-facing apps today, we are
planning to add additional authentication options for more sensitive data such as social security numbers and billing info. We
strongly recommend not to include sensitive data in your public apps until then.
