1. 5 x 3 = 15
There were 15 guests.

2. 15 ÷ 3 = 5 guest’s‎cars.
5‎+‎1‎=‎6‎‎(including‎Emma’s‎car)
There were 6 cars parked outside her house.

3. 25 – 15 = 10
There are 10 more cups than the number of guests.

4. 8 − 12 ÷ 2 = 2
There were two packs of chips.

5. 2 x 20 – 9 x 3 – 4 = 40 – 27 – 4 = 9
Emma got back $9 of change.

6. 32 ÷ 8 = 4
