Follow the same configuration steps as that of topology 1 but for the VLAN interface for each
switch give diff IP address to identify each switch and change the host names as well

ILLUSTRATION OF WORKING

Clearly, all the packets are successfully reaching

BASIC ROUTER TOPOLOGY USING CISCO PACKET TRACER

TOPOLOGY 1:

Steps to configure :
1. In the router add an HWIC-2Ti module n the physical tab by keeping the router off

ILLUSTRATION OF SUCCESSFUL PACKET TRANSMISSION

TOPOLOGY 2: Simulate communication within various depts in a college

1. Connect Each dept to a central Router through which packets are routed to various depts or
the internet based on the destination IP.

2. Follow the same procedure as that of Topology 1 for connecting the routers and establish the
below topology
Proof of Successful Connection Establishment

Clearly When the data is sent from CS1 to ECE2 it's transmitted successfully, similarly when
sent to the Internet (Google) it's successful
