HAL MANAGEMENT ACADEMY (HMA)

The HAL Management Academy situated in Bengaluru is the nodal learning

and development center offering technology and management
development programs to various stakeholders in the Aerospace industry.
The Academy has tie ups with premier IIMs, IITs and other Institutes of
repute both in India and abroad to offer advanced customized programs
to meet the learning requirements of the participants.

HMA plays a key role in shaping the upcoming generation of Engineers and
Technocrats by giving exposure to the latest trends in Engineering,
Management and Industry. HMA has designed specific courses to meet the
requirements of faculty and students in the Engineering fraternity
blending advanced knowledge and Industry exposure to provide holistic
learning opportunities.

HMA has state-of-art classrooms, breakaway rooms, computer labs and

library. In addition, the campus houses the hostel accommodation, 800
seat state-of-the-art Auditorium, Sports block with Gymnasium,
Swimming pool etc. HMA provides residential learning opportunities for
Executives, Professionals and Trainees.

 ABOUT CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME IN AEROSPACE MANAGEMENT
The Indian Aviation Sector is ready for rapid growth, both in Military and Civil Domain. The HAL Management Academy
with its vast experience in Aerospace Industry offers Certification Programme in Aerospace Management in collaboration
with Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.

The Certification Programme in Aerospace Management is a 3 months, full-time course with four training modules,
covering Aerospace field and Aviation Management giving strong foundation of Aerospace Design, Manufacturing,
Testing, Certification, Operations, Maintenance and Supply Chain Management.

Case studies from the Aerospace Industry developed exclusively to provide current Indian perspectives are discussed
giving exposure to real life scenarios in Aerospace Industry. The Project Work is carried out by each participant under the
guidance of faculty of HMA and IIM-Lucknow.

The Programme is conducted at the HMA Campus, Doddanekkundi, Bengaluru. On completion of the Programme, the
participants are issued with a Certificate jointly by HMA and IIM, Lucknow.

PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
Aerospace Industry Exposure Module
The participants would be given Aerospace Industry exposure at HAL divisions
(Design, R&D Centres, Production Divisions, Flight Hangar, MRO Divisions related
to Helicopters, Aircraft, Engines or Accessories).

A two-week module at IIM Lucknow

Enabling the participants to explore the latest managerial practices in Operations,
Finance, Marketing and other domains.

Project Work
Enabling participants to carry out Aerospace allied Project Work.

PROGRAMME FEES
Rs. 2,50,000 + applicable GST

Note: For residential participants, accommodation is available at HMA hostel on

chargeable basis.
