proper portion between a person’s desert (what is merited) and the good and bad
things that befall or are allotted to him or her. According to Aristotle, the key element
of justice is treating like cases alike, an idea that has set later thinkers’ task of
working out which similarities (need, desert, talent) are relevant.

form of love, signifying the reciprocal love between god and man that is made manifest
in the unselfish love of one’s fellow men. According St. Augustine, “Charity is a virtue
which, when affections are perfectly ordered, unites us to God, for by it we love him.
There is difference between charity and justice such as charity is a social
service, it provides direct services like food, clothing, shelter however, justice is a
social change, it promotes social change in institutions or political structures. Charity
is a private, or an individual act and justice is a public, or collective actions. Charity

directed at the effect of injustice, its symptoms. Charity address problems that already
exist, otherwise put: “love mops up,” but Justice is directed at the root causes of social
problems and addresses the underlying structures or causes of these problems.
Otherwise put “justice tries to make sure the mess isn’t made to begin with.
Justice is a complicated concept that it is core requires fairness. Justice, for
many people, refers to fairness. But while justice is important to almost everyone, it
means different things to different groups. For instance, social justice is the notion
that everyone deserves equal economic, political and social opportunities irrespective
of race, gender, or religion. Distributive justice refers to the equitable allocation of
assets in society. Environmental justice is the fail treatment of all people with regard
to environmental burdens and benefits. Restorative or corrective justice seeks to make
whole those who have suffered unfairly. Retributive justice seeks to punish
wrongdoers objectively and proportionately. And procedural justice refers to
implementing legal decisions in accordance with fair and unbiased process. Justice is
one of the most important moral values in the spheres of law and politics. Legal and
political systems that maintain law and order are desirable, but they cannot
accomplish either unless they also achieve justice.
According to Quick Mission, Charities play an essential role in society. A charity
helps people realize that it is possible to bless others in a world full of uncertainties
and chaos. Giving to charity gives a deeper meaning to life and help us see our
purpose to the people in our society. Giving is one of the essential meaning behind a
charity. It also triggers compassion and inspires the beneficiary to do the same in the
future when he or she has the opportunity and means to do so. Charities are essential
to create order in providing relief and assistance to the less noticed population in
different parts of the world. Victims of war, abused children, areas with no water and
medical aid, and those communities touched by disease and disaster are few of the
people whose lives are cared for by charities. Acts of charity give meaning to caring
and love for humankind. Some people give to charity because they see it as a moral
duty. Others see their see purpose and find personal gratification in need, both in
cash and in-kind.
