The Supreme Student Council of Northern Iloilo State University Main Campus is proposing a physical project to construct study benches near the cafeteria at the West Campus. The project aims to provide students with additional space to study and have snacks outside of the canteen. It will be funded by the Supreme Student Council Fund and overseen by various university administrators. The total budget needed does not exceed 150,000 Philippine pesos.

Program Title: Physical Project: Study Bench

Proponent: Supreme Student Council

Venue: Near the cafeteria at NISU West Campus, Estancia,
Iloilo

I. Rationale

The Supreme Student Council (SSC) is known as the mother organization

of all student organizations and being the highest governing student organization
of this campus that serves as the vital forum for the articulation of student ideas
and sentiments that should lead the matters affecting the activities of the
institution in particular and the nation in general.
The Supreme Student Council (SSC) of NISU - Main Campus Mission: to
adhere the principle of democracy, academic freedom and dynamic society,
maintain laws, good order, uphold our standards of cooperation, protect students’
rights and welfare and promote unity amongst ourselves. Vision: to develop
Future Leaders who have sufficient Leadership Skills and aims to promote,
implement and maintain the goals and aspirations of a new society.

III. Purpose
The purpose of this Physical Project is;
I. To have a place wherein students can study efficiently;
II. A comfortable space wherein students can occupy when having their snacks;
and;
III. To promote social interaction and camaraderie among other students.

IV. Objectives
The SSC Physical Project aims to;
a. Provide students a place to study;
b. Bestow upon students an additional space to those who can’t be accommodated
by the canteen chairs;
c. Promote general awareness through mass interaction, means of communication
out of divergence for the attainment of truth and justice.

V. Methodologies and Approaches

The Supreme Student Council (SSC) being the highest governing student organization
of NISU- Main Campus and the proponent of this activity will facilitate the conduct of this

Physical Project. The construction of this project will be under the guidance of the SSC
Adviser, the Director of Student Affairs and Services and will be supervised by the
IPDU.

VI. Source of Funds

The budget needed for the conduct of the Representative Assembly will come from the
Supreme Student Council Fund subject for the recommendation of the IPDU and will
follow the Auditing Rules and Regulations.
