PRESENTATION
The PCI100 Shoot/No-shoot target system is designed for short-distance light weapons training. This device is mainly used for indoor rifle ranges and for outdoor shooting courses like for police or for jungle type training. Its battery power supply is ideal for installations where no main supply is available. The PCI100 can present the target in 3 different ways: a Shoot side, a No-shoot side and a Neutral position. It can also be used with optional equipment (infrared detector, fixed control unit, MOTHI thermal units, etc.). The PCI100 can operate in stand-alone or using a radio-control system such as MSR100, SRC100 or UCG100. A special arm and a fixing system, both optional, allow using the PCI100 in pop-up and scissor modes.

DESCRIPTION
The PCI100 system is made of a revolving arm supported by a metallic a box containing the battery pack, the electronics, and the motor and gears set. The upper panel contains: The option (maintenance) and charger connector The antenna The ON/OFF switch When used without any radio-control system, the PCI100 operates in automatic mode. In that mode, the Shoot side is displayed at first. Then, when an impact is detected, the target is moved to the Neutral position for a couple of seconds. After that time, the PCI100 displays the Shoot side of the target again. When controlled by the MSR100, the target system can operate in manual or in automatic mode. When used in scenario mode, the SRC100 Radio-Control Console or the Management and Control Unit for Shooting Ranges UCG100 are required. The shooting instructor can then use the optional devices (thermal unit, etc.) and record the results of the exercises (number of impacts, reaction time of the shooter, etc).

The PCI100 target system can operate in stand-alone or remote-controlled by the RadioControl System MSR100. Each MSR100 can control simultaneously up-to 20 PCI100. When controlled by a MSR100, the PCI100 target system can operate in 5 different modes: Fix mode: When an impact is detected, the counter is incremented but the PCI100 remains in the same position. Manual mode: At rest, the target is in the Neutral position. The instructor manually orders the target system to display the Shoot side. When an impact is detected, the Shoot counter is incremented and the target system moves back to the Neutral position. The instructor can also decide to display the No-shoot side. In that case, the No-shoot counter is incremented if an impact is detected. Automatic mode: The Shoot (or No-shoot) side is displayed. When an impact is detected, the target automatically switches to the Neutral position. After 2 seconds, the original side is displayed again. And the cycle restarts. Manual timed mode: A display time is entered into the MSR100. Then, the instructor orders the PCI100 to display either the Shoot or the No-shoot side. When the selected time is over, or when an impact is detected, the PCI100 automatically switches back to the Neutral position. To restart the cycle, the instructor has to manually order the PCI100 to display of a side again. Random timed mode: The display time is entered into the MSR100. Then the PCI100 displays at random the Shoot or the No-shoot side of the target. When the selected time is over, the PCI100 switches back to the Neutral position. It remains in that position during the same duration and then, it starts a new cycle.
PCI100
The SRC100 is made of a waterproof box containing the electronic part and a battery pack. This radio-control system is mainly used outside, by the instructor. The utilization of the SRC100 is simple and easy to learn. The user interface is based on drop-down menus, accessible through protected buttons. The console can manage a pool of 500 PCI100. It can also monitor simultaneously up to 100 PCI100. The console has the possibility to operate in three different modes: Automatic and manual modes: like in the MSR100. Scenario mode: the targets operate according to programmed orders. The orders form a scenario, and a scenario can be programmed directly with the console or via a computer running PC1LOG software. In scenario mode, the SRC100 stores the results of the shooting exercises (name of shooter, weapon, weather, day and hour, reaction time, number of impacts ...).
The Management and Control Unit for Shooting Ranges (UCG100) is a complete system allowing to program, to supervise and to exploit all the PCI100 equipments of a shooting range. This unit is used inside (within a building, a control tower, etc.). This set contains a laptop running the software PC1LOG, a printer and a transmission module. The UCG100 allows having a full control of the shooting exercises: Control of the PCI100 located in the shooting ranges (without SRC100) Transfer, processing and utilization of the results imported from SRC100 (if used) Shooting ranges creation and storage Scenario creation Real time display of the of the actions and movements of the target systems

The pair of stabilizing feet is used to improve the PCI100 stability in revolving mode. In order to maintain efficiently the target system, each foot contains a couple of holes used to maintain PCI100 on the ground. This option is useful in case of wind or on uneven terrain.
PCI100
With the rotating arm, the PCI100 can be used in two other apparition modes (pop-up and scissor). The wall support is used to maintain the PCI100 in the position compatible with these two new modes.
Pop-up mode
Scissor mode
This option is used with the PCI100-BAS, when there is no wall to fix the wall support. In that case, the wall support is directly screwed on the vertical plate of the fixing square. This option allows using the PCI100 in pop-up or scissor mode, everywhere and with no preparatory installation.
