Company Background
The New-Peth Shoes Ltd.1 is an SME, based in Morpeth Northumberland, that operates
online by selling, both, locally produced and imported branded shoes. The business has
ambitious growth plans in rivalling some of the high street shoe stores, but due to lack of
internal expertise in analytics and data driven decision making, the owner is struggling to
make informed business decisions.

The dataset
There are currently 4 tables in the dataset, relating to sales, Shipping, Returns and Sales
representatives.

Shipping rules
Time allowed to ship based on shipping type

 Same day = 0 days


 First class = 1 day
 Second class = 3 days
 Standard class = 5 days

Returned order rule


If an order is returned it is returned in its entirety.

Each sales target is set by the following dimensions:

 Category
 Order Date
 Household type
