AYCO, CRIS ANN
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
FIRST, I WOULD TO THANKED THOSE PEOPLE WHO HELP ME, ESPECIALLY TO MY
MATH ADVISER MS. CRIS ANN AYCO WHO GUIDE ME TO CONDUCT THIS MINI-
RESEARCH.
THE PERFORMANXE OF GRADE-10 TRUSTWORTHY STUDENTS IN MATHEMATICS
AT NANGKA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE 3RD QUARTER OF S.Y. 2021-2022.

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Mathematics is an essential part of the school curriculum, as it is used both daily
life and the study of other subjects. However it is widely held the most student’s
dislike math because they think it’s dull. They don’t get excited about numbers
and formulas. They see math as abstract and irrelevant figures that are difficult to
understand.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This research will help the researcher identify the performance in math of Grade
10 trustworthy in Nangka National High School S.Y. 2021-2022.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

By doing this research, the researcher will be able to know if the class is struggling
on the subject or not. The researcher can also pinpoint those students who needs
help on the subject.

METHODOLOGY
A. Research Design
-Documentary analysis were used in conducting this mini-research
B. Respondents
-Grade 10 trustworthy students at Nangka National High School
C. Data Gathering
-The data that was used in this study was obtained from teacher’s class
record
D. Statistical Treatments
-Mean
-Percentile
-Percentile Rank
RESULTS AND FINDINGS

The Grade 10 Trustworthy has an average of 18.77% or 19%

75% of students in Grade 10 trustworthy (27.75) have an score of less than or
equal to 21.8
25% of the students in Grade 10 trustworthy, have an score of greater than or
equal to 21.8
72% of the scores are less than the cumulative frequency of 75.
28% of the scores are greater than the cumulative frequency of 75.

CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Based on the result, the Grade 10 trustworthy got a high mastery level of
performance for the 3rd Quarter in mathematics. There are only a student’s who
failed the summative test and most of the students got a passing grade.

So for that, the teacher will conduct remedial classes of the students who failed
