Space-age city on earth

Astana is a city of architectural wonders in the country of Kazakhstan. The city was
designed to be a modern capital on a continent of ancient cultures. Astana’s unusual
towers, buildings and structures make it look like it’s on another planet! There you will see
a cultural centre that looks like a big, blue eye and an entertainment centre shaped like a tent.
The most amazing structure in the city is the Bayterek Tower, whose pointy spires and
golden sphere are meant to remind the city’s residents of a folk tale about a magic bird that
laid an egg between the branches of the tree of life.
