    A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR
    AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ATTY. BENJAMIN ABALOS JR., TO ALLOCATE AND RELEASE THE
    AMOUNT OF FIVE MILLION (P5,000,000.00), PHILIPPINE CURRENCY FOR THE INSTALLATION
    OF SOLAR STREET LIGHTS AT BARANGAY POBLACION, BACLAYON, BOHOL, PHILIPPINES.

    WHEREAS, due to the limitation of streetlights that can be installed, there are still some
    areas in the Barangay that needs to be energized to promote security, safety and basic solution
    to peace and order and to discourage the offenders by increasing the risk that they will be seen
    or recognized.

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Poblacion has allocated a vast amount from our yearly National
    Tax Allocation (NTA) for the street lights electricity bills and maintenance; which constraints our
    budget;

    WHEREAS, instead of spending that much budget for the electricity bills, it can be
    allocated to other beneficial developments for the Barangay and its constituents.

    WHEREAS, our humble office fully supports the BIDA Program which enjoins the Local
    Government Units (LGUs), National Government Agencies (NGAs), and other key sectors of the
    society to focus on the drug demand reduction and rehabilitation in this region;

    NOW THEREFORE, on motion by Hon. Denis Real Bade and duly seconded en masse,
    Barangay Poblacion Baclayon Bohol Resolution No. 08-2023

    BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by this august body, EARNESTLY REQUESTING
    THE SECRETARY OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ATTY.
    BENJAMIN ABALOS JR., TO ALLOCATE AND RELEASE THE AMOUNT OF FIVE MILLION
    (P5,000,000.00), PHILIPPINE CURRENCY FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SOLAR STREET LIGHTS AT
    BARANGAY POBLACION, BACLAYON, BOHOL, PHILIPPINES;

    RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution at the office of the Municipal
    Mayor of LGU-Baclayon, Bohol, Sangguniang Bayan (SB), and other government agencies
    concerned for information and guidance.

    UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED this 2nd day of March 2023.
