The newest distribution systems in banking are:


•Computerized tools (ATMs, POS),
•Electronic banking that includes home banking, office banking, internet banking, e-
commerce smart terminals;
•Telephone banking – customer relations telephone office (Call Centers),
•Remote banking – lending and deposit services by mail,
•Mobile banking- account and transaction consultation services, interest information, product
courses, some online secondary payments, bank clerks.
Distribution channels oblige the bank to define an attitude towards the use of
intermediaries and the following alternative can be considered: short channels (without
intermediaries), medium or long channels (with intermediaries such as franchise, broker,
agent) and mixed channels (with and free). intermediaries). Obviously, the distribution mix is
achieved by correlating the type of channel chosen with the distribution network used.

The activity within the headquarters of banking companies is carried out by


departments, directions, sections. Each bank, depending on the activity carried out and the
range of operations performed, organizes its functional structure in a specific way. However,
there are a number of organizational components found in different forms (departments,
divisions, sections, etc.) in most commercial banks due to the fact that, in general, all
commercial banks carry out the same range of operations. Within the plant, the activity is
organized by specialized departments, which, in turn, have different services under their
control.

 Security equipment: to protect both personnel and material assets.
