Science and technology

In our modern world, Internet is an open interconnection of computer

networks that enables the computers and the programs they run to communicate
directly. Internet support thousands of different kinds of operational and
experimental services.
For example: E-mail, allows a message to be sent from one person to
another, or to many others, via computer.
The World Wide Web allows the seamless creation and use of elegant point-
and-click hypermedia presentations, linked across the Internet in a way that
creates a vast open knowledge repository, through which users can easily
browse.
The Internet and its technology continue to have a profound effect in promoting
the sharing of information, making possible rapid transactions among
businesses, and supporting global collaboration among individuals and
organizations. Current projects indicate that 100 million compputers will be
connected via the global Internet by the year 2000, and even more will be
attached to enterprise internets.
Possessing a mobile phone used to be a status symbol in Hungary. Around 80%
of the population have this little gadget. If you want to be reached wherever you
are, it is a very useful thing, but the problem is that people are addicted to their
handies and they forget the etiquette when it comes down to mobile phones.
They use them in restaurants, banks, even is school. Young people like texting
from their phones. An sms can be very practical because in short message you
can write down a lot of information. There are some good points about mobile
phones. You can switch them off if you don’t want to be disturbed.
A healthcare industry today is not what it was just 5 years ago. This is largely
due to technology and a large number of innovative digital solutions that are
introduced every day. Many technological solutions have been proposed for
several problems that the world of medicine was facing, and these have greatly
changed and improved the medicine industry. Today is possible to reproduce
bones and some internal organs using 3D printing technology. Technology has
drastically changed how medical experiments are conducted. Instead of taking
years, experiments now take months or weeks.
Unfortunaltely, there are many negative factors of technological improvements.
Overuse or dependence on technology may have adverse psychological effects,
including isolation, depression and anxiety, as well as physical health effects.
Technologies, such as social media, are designed to bring people together, but
they may have the opposite effect in some cases. 19-32 years young adults with
higher social media use are likely to feel socially isolated than those who aren’t
use social media as often.
Modern gadgets, such as handheld tablets, smartphones, and computers, can
hold a person’s attention for long periods. This may lead to eyestrain. It can
make blurred vision and dry eyes. Eyestrain may also lead to pains in other areas
of the body, like the head, neck or shoulders.
I am very optimistic about the future. I really have high hopes in
connection with it. Technological improvments won’t stop, many new programs,
gadgets will be born to help our everyday life.
