I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standard The learners demonstrate an understanding of concepts and principles in installing
configuring computer systems.
B. Performance The learners shall be able to install and configure computer systems based on
Standard established procedures and system requirements.
C. Learning 4.1 Install Application Software based on software installation guides, end-user
Competencies requirements and software license agreement (TLE_IACSS9- 12ICCS-IIIa-e31)
4.2 Carry out variation to application software in accordance to customer/ client
requirements (TLE_IACSS9- 12ICCS-IIIa-e31)
D. Learning Objectives
In a span of one (1) hour, the students are expected to:
• Determine the parts and options in MS WORD (Insert Tab)
• Create professional and visually appealing documents using MS WORD (Insert
Tab).
• Appreciate the significance of MS WORD (Insert Tab) in today’s Generation.

Symbol - a thing that represents or stands for something else, especially a material
object representing something abstract.
COMMAND – a specific instruction given to a computer application to perform some
kind of task or function.
TABS - used for aligning text in a word processor by moving the cursor to a predefined
position.

Let us recapitulate today’s topic. The Insert tab in Microsoft Word is still important in
today's generation because it provides a wide range of tools that can help users create
professional and visually appealing documents. For example, the ability to insert
pictures, shapes, charts, and tables can make documents more engaging and easier to
understand. The Insert tab also allows users to add special elements such as headers
and footers, page numbers, and hyperlinks, which can make documents more
organized and easier to navigate.

Learning The teacher gives a short-written quiz through PPT. Each number have a time allotted.
