TRAINING DESIGN
Title: Learning Action Cell (LAC)
Theme: Seminar-Workshop in data analysis as the basis for quantifying the level of understanding of the students using the periodic test result
Participants: TLE Teachers

Rationale:

At the end of every quarter the conduct of item analysis is a must to check the level of understanding of the students. To facilitate the activity
several modes of computations are made but still the data is not weighted properly. Data are requisite to make final decisions to optimize the
possibility of retention and revision of some test items. The urgency of knowing this data analysis methods calls for a LAC session.

The result of test items presents the performance of the teacher inside the classroom. Once the data is properly evaluated based from the
component of the analysis a desired disposition should be conducted to bridge the gap of learning of the students. The teacher may prevent the
increasing number of failing grades and non- compliance of performance task. The passion is to promote the deeper understanding of competencies
and make each student competitive to the 21 st century era. To facilitate learning LAC session is the key answer for the quest.

Teachers and learners are both beneficiaries of the training. The processed raw data extracted will signal actions to developed a well-made
assessment for each learner.

Objectives:

This LAC session aims to:


1. Guide the teachers on the step of suing and interpreting the value of extracted raw score and it’s implication to the level of learning.
2. Sustain the use of the analysis as a basis for interpreting data and providing each one with it’s correlations to understanding the
competencies of the lesson
3. Share knowledge on how to improve test construction to show case the knowledge within the competencies discussed within the quarter
