03 Pros and Cons

04 From my Perspective
01
What is Car Vehicle?
A vehicle is a machine such as a car, bus, or truck which has
an engine and is used to carry people from place to place. The
first automobile powered by a steam engine that could
transport people was built in 1769.

Earlier accounts often gave credit to Karl Benz, from Germany,

for creating the first true automobile in 1885/1886. However, our
knowledge of the invention of the true automobile continues to
evolve.

was valued at $2.9 trillion in 2022, and it is currently growing
at a CAGR of 3.1% following several years of decline where
the market dropped by 0.6% between 2017 and 2022.

The industry is predicted to continue growing at a CAGR of

3.71% between 2020 to 2030, and will consist of 122.83 million

leap from 2020’s 85.32 million units. Currently, the

PROS
Environmental Impact:
03
Drivers can limit greenhouse emissions by buying a fuel-
efficient car and keeping it maintained. It’s not as good as
walking or riding a bicycle, but it’s a step in the right direction.
Costs:
Owning a car can also help people make money. Some
employers favor people with reliable transportation, and some
jobs require a car. Car owners can also make some extra
money by moonlighting as an Uber or Lyft driver.
Convenience:
Cars are associated with personal freedom for a reason.
Having a car means you can go wherever you want, whenever
you want, without having to check bus routes or wait for ride-
sharing service.

Environmental Impact:
CONS
Most cars run on gasoline, and this releases carbon dioxide, a
greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere. According to the United
States Environmental Protection Agency, transportation is
responsible for 27 percent of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions.
Costs:
Car ownership is expensive. It’s not just the cost of the car
itself, either. On top of that, you have many other expenses
that can really add up. For the average driver, these expenses
can include gas, insurance, registrations fees and etc.
Convenience:
Cars do come with inconveniences, such as maintaining
registration and finding a place to park. If you own a car and
your friends don’t, they might want you to give them rides
frequently.
PERSPECTIVE
When I was 17 years old, I had a dream of owning a Honda Civic,
also known as the "LEGEND OF THE 90's." My cousin, who owns
this car and taught me how to fix and maintain cars, also had
an influence on me. Then, as my interest in these things grew, I
began to watch Japanese JDM automobile vlogs and Car
detailings.

Later, my father gave me a car as a graduation gift from senior

high school. I was hyped and I became very interested in these
things and they eventually became my hobby. I began
repairing my own vehicle, such as changing the oil and filters
and solving serious engine problems.

I learnt a lot through research data and YouTube videos upon

this field, and as a result, I came to the position of car guy in our
family. When I fix cars, it's like enjoying your favorite comfort
meal constantly.
