ACTIVITY DESIGN
I. GENERAL INFORMATION
Activity Title: Junior Senior Promenade Target Participants:
Grade 9 and 10 students of Talamban
National High School
Duration: June 10, 2023 (6 PM to 10 PM) Venue/Platform: IEC Convention Center of
Cebu or IC3 Convention Center
Delivery Mode: Budget Requirements: Php 650 – 850 per pax

Face-to-face
Budget Source:
Activity Description: Voluntary Contribution of Parents
Formal ceremony for the turnover of
responsibilities of the senior to the junior and
the perfect avenue to apply the social graces
and social etiquettes learned by the students
in class
Rationale
Junior Senior Promenade is essential for students to try and experience. JS Prom is a
time for students to learn how to converse and mingle with people they are acquainted with
and the strangers to them in a very formal occasion. Every student should join and
experience JS Prom for them to know the exact and proper table etiquettes and to heighten
up their social skills and knowledge.

JS Prom would also allow the students to carry themselves with class and confidence.
Aside from the joy, fun, and camaraderie, the event marks the “coming of age” of the
students as they step into young adulthood with its responsibilities and become ladies and
gentlemen. It is also a special occasion for the Grade 9 students to salute the achievements
of the Grade 10, while the Grade 10 students bequeath and hand down the mantle of
leadership to the juniors.

The JS Prom would be held at the IEC Convention Center of Cebu or IC3 Convention
Center for the reason it accommodates the large population of Talamban National High
School Grade 9 and 10 students at the most reasonable price amongst canvasses venues. The
venue is also accessible to the majority of students in terms of transportation.

Objectives:
The objectives of the activity are the following:
 To provide a bequeathal ceremony that would allow the third year and fourth year
high school students to formally exchange batch responsibilities for the
succeeding school year.
 To provide a social event that allows students to differentiate between and
practice formal and informal interaction decorum.
 To foster the development of musical, bodily kinesthetic, and interpersonal skills
of students through their own creation and performic of musical production
numbers.
