VALORANT TOURNAMENT

How to register in communitygaming.io:

1. The first step is to sign up for an account (all five players must create accounts).
Create a new team and send an email invitation to your teammates.

2. Click the "Join Tournament" button above once all of your teammates have accepted
your invitation to join your team.

Note: Watch this video if you have difficulties registering your team.

Participating Team:
 Eight teams (All ranks allowed)
 There will be no single sign-ups; teams must consist of at least five players and be pre-
made.

Tournament schedule & important times:


I. Qualifiers Tournament
 February 27, 2023 - Registration opens
 March 08, 2023 - Registration closes; players notified of status
 March 18, 2023 - 1st Qualifiers Bracket begins at 7:30 PM PHT
- End of Qualifiers Tournament
 March 25, 2023 - 2nd Qualifiers Bracket begins at 7:30 PM PHT
- End of Qualifiers Tournament

II. Major Tournament


 April 01, 2023 - Major Main Stage Bracket begins at 3:00 PM PHT
 April 14, 2023 - Losers Bracket Finals begins at 8:00 PM PHT
- Grand Finals Match will commence after Losers Bracket Finals
- End of Major Tournament

RULES:
General Conditions:

1. ARKILIGA are governed by the following set of rules and regulations which apply to all
participants in order to provide a fair and pleasant experience for all our users.

2. For violation of any of the clauses of the rules, the Referee reserves the right to issue a
warning, a technical defeat, or a ban based on the severity of the violation.
3. Organizers reserve the right to adjust or override any rules or regulations set in place at
any time in order to ensure fair play and smooth execution of the tournament.

Tournament Format:
1. Teams may play in a tournament with the same lineup they had when they registered for
the competition.
2. Bracket Settings
 (2) Qualifiers Event (1 Day)
Single Elimination Bracket (8 Teams)
1. Elimination Round = BO1 Matches
2. Semi-Finals Round = BO1 Matches
3. Final Round = BO1 Match
 (1) Major Event (1 Day)
Double Elimination Bracket (8 Teams)
1. Main Stage = BO1 Matches (Day 1)
2. Losers Bracket Round = BO1 Matches (Day 1)
3. Semi-Finals = BO1 Matches (Day 1)
4. Final Round = BO3 Match (Day 1)
 Selection

- Those who are placed top 4 on their respective qualifiers will automatically
secure their slot on to the major tournament with a prize pool of 300$!

- Settled by Overtime

 Bracket
- The system chooses the bracket at random

Game Rules:

1. No rank limit. Each player can only use one account for the rest of the game.
2. Must treat other players and organizers with respect, else risk disqualification. Aggressive,
disrespectful, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated.
3. All players must register on the forms provided before the deadlines disclosed.
4. Each team's roster will have five players and one substitute. Once the tournament starts, you
cannot replace any player. A team that has an unregistered player include or play in their games
will be automatically disqualified. In case of an emergency and a team needs a stand in, teams
should inform the game master before the match officially start failing to do so result into an
automatic disqualification.
5. Any form of trash-talking isn't allowed. Strictly no tea bagging. You'll be disqualified after the
first penalty. To report a player for breaking this conduct, please send a screenshot of the
offending behavior to a tournament administrator.
6. Before resuming the game, the side that paused the game must ensure that the other team is
ready. The game can resume as soon as the opponent declares ready. If the opposite party does
not affirm its preparedness, your opponent's pause time report begins.
7. If participants are found guilty of Bug Abuse or in breach of Riot's Terms of Service, they may
be faced with warnings or automatic disqualification.
8. The host will only have 15 minutes allowance waiting for players. If 15 minutes have passed
and the team isn't yet complete in the lobby, they forfeit by default.
9. Team leaders must advise their teammates to be ready and prepared at the event's start. The
team leader must notify the referee when all five players are online. The referee will then give the
signal to join the lobby in Valorant.
10. Before the game starts, please check your ping or restart your PC and router. Teams will have
2 TECHNICAL AND 2 TACTICAL pauses. Technical Pause will last for 5 minutes while tactical
Pause will last for 1 minute.
• Technical Pause = Only use when - disconnection, lagging, packet loss, etc.
• Tactical Pause = Only use when - team meeting, strategy, short break, etc.
11. The player's IGN and tag cannot contain profanity, racist propaganda, or hate against
representatives of a specific nationality.

12. No coaches allowed.


13. You are not allowed to change your team’s name once you’ve registered until the major
tournament. Changing of team name will be automatically disqualified.
14. The enemy team are not allowed to continue the game when more than one player of the
opposing team disconnected or abandoned the game if they have timeout or minutes left to spend
to wait the disconnected player unless the opposing team decided to play it 4vs5.
15. It is forbidden to swear, provoke, abuse and deceive participants as well as judges during a
tournament by any means.
16. All the above‐mentioned rules are situational and can be interpreted differently by the Judges
for each game in order to make the best decision.
17. Decisions of the referee in any situation including those not described in these rules are final
and not negotiable.
18. A team that refuses to play a game again requested by the referee receives a technical defeat
and loses any prizes won in the tournament.
19.The tournament administration has the right to change and modify the rules at any time at its
discretion.
20. Any situation not covered in the rules will be handled by the tournament administration.

Mode: Standard

All matches will be played on the latest patch.

Note: Server will be decided based on the ping of the majority on each server. Both teams
may agree to restart a map before Round 1 begins if the ping is unreasonable for the server
selected. If both teams can’t agree to the server, it would be decided through coin toss.

The coinflip winner chooses to be Team A or Team B

Team A - Picks their starting side for the map

Map Banning for BO3:


The coinflip winner chooses to be Team A or Team B
Team A - bans one Map
Team B - bans one Map
Team A - picks Map 1
Team B - picks side for Map 1
Team B - picks Map 2
Team A - picks side for Map 2
Team A - bans one Map
Team B - bans one Map
Map 3 is only Map remaining
Team A - picks side for Map 3

Note: Players cannot select a map more than once. Team captains will be gathered the day
before the tournament for the coin flip, banning, and choosing maps. All agents are also
allowed.

Prize Information:

1. Prizes are distributed at Arena.GL to the accounts of the tournament's winning teams.

2. If both teams fail to attend the final, both teams lose the right to receive a prize.

3. In order for a prize to be awarded, the team winning the prize must have played at least
a match in the tournament. Winning every match in a tournament by technical defeats
does not make a participant eligible to receive a prize.
