NOUN
• Noun- is a word used to name a person,
place, or thing. There are two kinds of
nouns; common and proper. Proper
nouns are capitalized. Common nouns
are not capitalized.

A personal pronoun is a short word we use as a simple
substitute for the proper name of an I, you, he, she, it, we,
they, me, him, her, us, and them.
Compound personal pronouns are pronouns formed by
adding the suffix self or selves to personal

yourself, himself, herself, and itself as the singular forms,
and. yourselves, ourselves, and themselves as the plural
PRONOUN forms.
Relative pronouns- who, whoever, whom, whomever, that,
which, when, where, and whose.
Interrogative pronoun- what, which, who, whom, and
whose.
Indefinite pronoun- all, another, any, anybody/anyone,
anything, each, everybody/everyone, everything, few,
many, nobody, none, one, several, some,
somebody/someone.

Adverbs- are words that modify verbs, adjectives, other
adverbs, entire sentences, or clauses. An adverb usually
answers the question: How? When? Where? or to what extent.

Words commonly used as adverbs almost fast, very, and most
words ending in lye xx: kindly
Interrogative adverbs- were why when how
Conjunctive adverbs- however, moreover, nevertheless,
otherwise, still, and therefore.
PREPOSITION
A preposition is a word or
group of words used
before a noun, pronoun,
or noun phrase to show
direction, time, place,
location, or spatial
relationships, or to
introduce an object.
A conjunction is a word of connects words or groups of
words. There are coordinating conjunction correlative
and subordinating conjunction
