Introduction:
Egypt is located in the north eastern corner of Africa. Egypt’s heart
land, the Nile River Valley and delta was the home for one of the
principal civilization of ancient Middle East and like Mesopotamia father
east was the side of one of the world’s earliest Urban and liberate
societies. Egypt is famous for its ancient civilization and the monuments
of the majestic pharaohs such as great pyramids of Giza the great sphinx,
the Egyptian Museum, the GEM and dahshur. Egypt’s popular ancient
name was KEMET which means “black land”. King Menes found the
capital of ancient Egypt at white walls, later known as [Memphis] near the
apex of Nile River [3100-2686B.C] the capital would grow into a great
metropolis that dominated Egyptian society during old kingdom period.
About TUTANKHAMUN:
His original name is TUTANKHATEN and his surname is KING TUT
[flourished 14th Century B.C.E] ruled Egypt as pharaoh for 10 years until
his death at age 19, around 1324 B.C. though his rule was notable for
reversing the religious reforms of his father Akhenaten Tutankhamen’s
legacy was largely negated by his successors. Tutankhamen has the
smallest royal tomb in the Valley of the Kings. He was buried in a second-
hand coffin.
Tutankhamen loved to hunt ostriches.Tutankhamun's heart is missing.
One of Tutankhamen’s favorite possessions was an iron dagger.
Treasures in Egypt:
Two of Tutankhamen’s three coffins were made of wood, covered with
gold sheet. But, to Howard Carter's great surprise, the innermost coffin
was made from thick sheets of beaten gold. This coffin measures 1.88m in
length, and weighs 110.4kg. Once inside the tomb, Carter found rooms
filled with treasure. This included statues, gold jewelry, Tutankhamen’s
mummy, chariots, model boats, canopic jars, chairs, and paintings. It was
an amazing discovery and one of the most important made in the history
of archeology. The treasure was laid out in five rooms and included
thrones, statues, furniture and arms. The walls of the chamber in which
Tutankhamun lay were covered in gold, and his coffin was a three-piece
sarcophagus of which the outermost was in red quartzite and the
innermost was 110 kilograms (240 pounds) of solid gold. Tutankhamun's
death mask is worth around 2 million dollars. Egypt is home to the Only
Remaining Ancient Wonder in the World. No, the Pyramids Were Not
Built By Slaves. Ancient Egyptians and the Afterlife. Many Gods of
Ancient Egypt. Egypt is home to 7 UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Mount Sinai and the 10 Commandments. Ancient Egyptians Loved Board
Games. Mummified people were often buried with many of their
belongings that might be needed in the afterlife. If the mummified person
was very rich when they died, such as the Pharaoh, he would be buried
with objects made out of gold, for example jewellery. Nearly all have
been emptied of their mummies and their treasure, the only thing left
were empty stone sarcophagi. Not a speck of gold, lapis or ivory to be
found in pyramid burial chambers. At best fragments of royal bodies.
Therefore still there more mysteries behind the paintings and treasures
found by the Egyptologists. I hope they bring back all the truths behind
them.
Conclusion:
By this thesis we can know some of the treasures and some mysteries
about the death of Tutankhamen, and the materials used in B.C. period the
monument’s constructions using various materials and for painting they
used the natural things to give colour to the pictures and different
Egyptologists team works together to unite all the Tutankhamen’s

bringing out the truth to the world

Reflection:
I had an brief review about the history of Egypt and reasons each and
every sculptures and paintings in Tutankhamen’s treasures. Actually it
made me to search more about the Tutankhamen’s treasures and about
the life history of Tutankhamen’s. The mystery behind Tutankhamen’s
death made me to think about the intelligence of ancestors in those days.
