Job Purpose
Prepare or develop process engineering studies & designs of newly developed production facilities
(greenfield or brownfield), modification, optimization, piloting and applying new technology of the
existing Medco E&P’s oil & gas facilities, in line with the company goals & objectives as well as in
maintaining compliances with regulations, engineering specifications, codes and standards including
Health, Safety and Environment protection.
Job Description
• Perform to support Pre-Development & Project Delivery in developing/ delivering technical
development of divestment plan, technical due diligent of investment plan, FEL -1 & FEL-2
Conceptual Engineering Package, FEL-3 & Execute Design & Engineering Package
• Support in developing conceptual study, Pre-FEED, FEED & Detailed Engineering Design related
to process engineering for in house (small) project execution.
• Provide review on technical work scopes & evaluation related to process engineering of various
design and specification prepared by Pre-FEED, FEED or EPC Contractors for outsourced works,
for small project execution.
• Evaluate piloting and application of new technology in developing expansion, optimization related
to process engineering for existing asset.
• Support in developing and update of all process engineering standards and specifications,
process drawings for all production facility systems and equipment.
• Provide all technical supports related to process engineering design
Requirement
Minimum Formal Education Level:
Engineering degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering from reputable local or overseas university.
Working Experience:
Minimum have 3 years of related work experience in Process Engineering in the area of oil and gas
upstream industries or petrochemical industries.
Technical Competencies:
• Familiar with process specifications, international and Indonesian codes and standards and all
applicable Indonesian government regulations pertaining to onshore oil and gas production
facilities.
• Good working knowledge of Process Design and Sizing, Process Simulation, Process Safety, Oil
and Gas Transport & Handling, Produced Water Treatment, Waste Treatment & Disposal, Gas
Processing/Treating/Conditioning, Gas Compression, Wax Crude Handling, and fair knowledge in
other related Engineering (Mechanical, Piping, Pipeline, Instrument, Electrical, etc.).
• Good working knowledge of analysis software HYSYS or equivalent, PIPESIM or equivalent (OLGA
is advantage). Good knowledge in process safety analysis software such as Flaresim, Phast is an
advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English
