WHERE IS LOCATED

The Port of Mazatlán is located on the west coast of Mexico, in the state of Sinaloa.
It limits to the north with the state of Sonora, to the east with Chihuahua and Durango and to the south with Nayarit.
Latitude: 23º 11.9' N, Longitude: 106º 25.3' W

DESCRIPTION OF THE PLACE

Known as The Pearl of the Pacific, the port city of Mazatlan serves as one of the main destinations for cruise ships and beach resorts in
Mexico. It has an extensive artistic Malecón or boardwalk adorned with sculptures, a marina, and a historic center designated as a
National Historic Heritage in 2001.

Known for its beautiful beaches and warm, sunny weather, Mazatlán is a major resort destination as well as an important Pacific port.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO IN MAZATLÁN

Being a place with beautiful beaches and good weather, you can do a lot of activities, such as:

At the historic center there is a theater and a cathedral

The malecón is approximately 21 kilometers, it starts at the(faro) of Mazatlán and it ends in the Golden Zone known as “Zona

dorada”. You can find incredible choices to obtaindifferent points of view of the Pacific Ocean. 

The viewpoint reaches one hundred fifty-seven metersheight, reaching the levels of the sea

and being one of thetallest ones in the world

(El Faro) is the best ideal place to take pictures and evenexcessive while enjoying the view of the open sea and theport

The cost to visit the aquarium is around three hundred and eighty pesos for adults and  two hundred and forty for kids

It is the biggest in Mexico and in Latin America, it is 50000

You can go inside the port and watch the big boats arrive ifyou go with a school site.

You can buy souvenirs, it's the most common thing to buy but you should be go to Casa Etnika it's a place there you can buy some
unique items like clothes, bracelets or necklaces of the region

The best area to stay in Mazatlán is in the popular Zona Dorada,

The prices of the houses or apartments range from 5000 to26000 per night depending on the size and location

Hotel prices range from $2,000 to $15,000 per night everything depends on the economy you have, days you want to stay and luxury you

want to have since it can be all inclusive, with breakfast included or just the room
