    1. How did I feel watching the documentary? (50+ words)


    It is sad when tragedies happen but it is inevitable to feel a li le empathy for the
    animal. Situa ons like this are always controversial and what happens on occasions
    when an animal is deprived of a healthy environment is horrible.

    2. Who is responsible for the deaths (SeaWorld, the trainer, the whale)? Jus fy
    your answer.
    I feel that in these cases it is impossible to blame the animal because they never act
    maliciously, they act according to their impulses. It is the negligence of the park and the
    majority of the trainer's fault because they risk a situa on of this type every me they
    get into the water, added to the fact that with be er treatment the animal would not
    act like this

    3. Do you believe animals are safer kept in cap vity (zoo, aquarium) than in their
    natural habitat? Jus fy your answer.
    Wild animals should always be free, keeping them in cap vity only harms them
    because they do not develop in a natural environment and they do not learn things that
    free animals do.

    4. What measurement do you think SeaWorld needs to take to prevent these


    deaths from ever happening again?
    I think that Seaworld should not have animals in such small enclosures and alone, a
    company or a larger enclosure gives the animal more con dence, they should also
    teach the trainers how to deal with an animal inside and take ac on as soon as the
    animal begins to present a tudes like this

    5. Write 3 things that you can actually do to help animals.


    *report any kind of abuse
    *help animals in street situa on
    *treat animals with respect and treat them with care
