Course Description:
This course strives to meet the digital literacy needs of students and professionals to
succeed in the twenty-first century. Emphasis is placed on lessons in basic word
processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software skills. Special consideration is
given to essential cybersecurity practices and the ethical use of technology.
a) Identify key historical milestones in the development and use of the Internet.
e) Explain the importance of ethical Internet and computer use in personal and
professional situations.
