Principle Organizer

- As Canada’s only national charity devoted to fighting childhood cancer,


responsibilities were to raise funds to go towards improving the survival rates
and quality of life for children (and their families) impacted by cancer
- During national cancer awareness month, organized an indoor cycling event
geared to raise money for this worthy cause
- Responsible to canvass organizations for sponsorship including food donations
and prizes for event
- Collected pledges and ensured safety of all participants
- Event was a complete success and raised over $4,300 for children living with
cancer
