Assessment:
● Chapter 4: Understanding fractions, decimals, and percentages
● Chapter 5: Probability
● Chapter 6: Computation with decimals and fractions
● Chapter 7: Time
● Chapter 8: Algebraic techniques

Please focus more on term 3 and 4 as around 60 - 80% of the exam will be from these 2
terms.

Task Description: 90-minute test

Guidelines:
● Write using black or blue pen
● Marks may not be awarded for messy or badly arranged work
● All necessary working must be shown in every question, or marks will
not be awarded. As each question is worth one mark, there will be no
part marks.

Notes: The following are useful textbook references:


Everything covered during the year until week 4 of Term 4.Cambridge Math NSW Year
7.

Do the chapter review for the above chapters. Start early and feel free to ask Mr. Saad
questions if you have forgotten some topics. We will also do practice papers in the lead
up to the exam.

Please ensure you review the following guidelines to ensure your assessments are completed correctly.

1. General Assessments

☑ Penalties of 5% will apply for each day the assessment is submitted late.

2. Examination Guidelines

Students will be required to bring the following materials to the examination:

STUDENT CONDUCT:
Students are to conduct themselves in a responsible and ethical manner during the examination. They will not be
permitted to perform any of the following actions during the examination:
� Talk � Borrow materials
� Leave their seat � Ask questions (after the reading time ends)

Students must sit in their allocated place for the duration of the examination period

PLAGIARISM
Students must submit their own work. Failure to do so may be seen as plagiarism.

The penalty for plagiarism may include;


1. Receiving a zero mark (where there is blatant and extensive plagiarism or where there is evidence that the
work does not belong to the student)
2. Asked to re-submit the assignment
3. A non-attempt will be awarded (Principal’s decision).
