ANALYZE (page 209)

1.
a. Determined – This is outstanding because we all understand that teaching is not and will
never be an easy profession. At all times, a teacher must be extremely passionate about
his or her job. He/she is always interested in sharing his/her wisdom, abilities, and
personal stories to the students as a teacher, and he/she have targets to achieve, which is
why he/she continue teaching.
b. Knowledgeable – This is outstanding because, as a teacher, you must always be ready
and have adequate knowledge of the lesson to impart with your students. A
knowledgeable teacher will also have a simple means of providing instruction, allowing
him or her to be an effective teacher.
c. Dignified – This is outstanding because the teacher considers all of the students equally
and fairly. He or she aims to cater to each student's needs and pays attention to their
ideas, opinions, and sentiments, despite personal differences.

2. I believe the qualities I have are determination, cooperation, and dignity. If you were to ask
me if I am prepared to be a good teacher someday, I would say no. I still have a lot more to learn,
but I'm much more willing to teach and train myself to become a good, effective teacher who
meets the requirements. I consider myself being a straightforward person who aim to teach
students. I enjoy teaching and am dedicated to having shared not only my knowledge and
expertise with my students, but also my life experiences.

REFLECT (page 210)

My teachers' personal qualities aided me greatly in helping to improve my academic
performance from elementary to college. I was able to know and understand the lessons more
conveniently because of the qualities they represented for me and their assistance. When there is
something, I don't know or am having difficulty with, I can easily reach them and seek for
assistance, and they will eagerly assist me.

One teacher in particular impressed me with his or her humility. Even with her
profession, she makes every effort to understand her students' situations. She is gentle and loving
and patient with all of her students. When a student messes up, she manages it with humility,
having taken the time to understand each student's viewpoint and bringing up with a great way to
solve.
