The Chicken and The Eagle
The Chicken and The Eagle
The Chicken and The Eagle
It does not mean that if you fit in, you are in the right place. It
does not mean that if you can do a certain thing, you will keep on doing
it repeatedly. You should go past your comfort zone. Push yourself to
explore different and new things. There will always be more room for
learning, new knowledge, and improvement. Discovering new things
can be difficult at first, but as you go along the way, you will get used
to it and learn new things again, and the cycle goes on. We are meant
for good things, not just dwelling with the same stuff for the rest of our
lives. Do not let the influence of others affect what you really want in
your life. To know who you really are, don’t believed to the beliefs of
other people that may lead you to the wrong path, observe and study
yourself gradually to understand who you really are. If you have what
you want to do something or if you dreamed to be someone like your
idol then follow your dreams. Don’t let others tell you what you are and
don’t do things to pleased others. No matter where you came from, it
doesn’t define who you are and what you are capable of. If you dream
of becoming something and you know to yourself that you have all the
potential to achieve that, then don’t be afraid to try and continue to
pursue that dream of yours as trying is always better than regretting.
We’re all different in our own way, we are all capable of doing
something, we all have different potentials, some of us might already
know that and some of us are still in the process of discovering it just
like the eagle in the story. The eagle who was flying in the story served
as an inspiration to the other eagle, it made the eagle realize his
potentials and what he is capable of achieving if he were to try the
things the flying eagle was doing. We can also be an inspiration to
others and somehow make them realize their talents as well, we should
support and help them improve while we're at it. We must remain
humble and remember where we came from even after we’ve attained
our goals. Whatever that we are thinking it will happen to us because
that it is our intended to do and this will be our actions. If you are
dreaming to become an Eagle, do not give up, follow your passion and
fulfill your dreams in your life, not the words of a chicken. Don’t get
distracted by the diversions, and just concentrate on being what you
want to be instead of what you are.
As you can see, the story is about the female eagle knowing that she is
Self- awareness
a chicken who raised in the chicken yard. She ignored the male eagle
who wants to help her to know who and what she really are and just go
back to the chicken yard and told to her all chicken friends how she
deceit the male eagle. The female eagle was not aware to herself
because she believed to the beliefs of the chickens which are not. It is
important to know and understand the female eagle who she really are
because she will benefit from it. When she knows who she really are, it
may develop and enhance herself specially her skill by doing
something like soaring. It becomes easy because that is who you are,
that is your personality. You will be better and develops your self-
confidence. But then, at the story she refused the opportunity that was
given to her and just go back to the chicken yard. There is as
connection between the story and self awareness. Because in reality,
you need to be aware of what you are dreaming about in life, especially
if your living in a world full of judgment, which makes it more difficult to
hang on to the goals you set for yourself in life. Self-awareness is like
knowing what you can and cannot do, your strengths and weaknesses,
and what you can improve on. By realizing these things, you can push
yourself for other things. You can create a new, better version of
yourself. As I have heard from an influential person. You don't beat
anyone, you beat yourself. The eagle was raised in an environment
where it wasn’t meant to be in and it was taught things that eagles
don’t usually do. But as the eagle grew up, it finally realizes what he is
capable of doing that his other companions can’t, he became more
aware of his own nature and where he really belongs. As we grow up,
we discover and learn more about ourselves, our strengths and
weaknesses, our likes and dislikes, and such. The eagle represents all
of us, that is why we should never be afraid of trying something as that
could possibly change our life and lead us to the path where we really
belong.
