50% of the students in 10i2 ESL have an even learning profile and display no learning bias. From observations in class,
it is obvious that the strength of this set of students lies in active collaboration and therefore group work is an
excellent vehicle for learning.

25% of students in 8E display a Verbal Bias (ranging from extreme to mild) and are competent at written tasks. This
set of students also enjoys discussion and debate.

Task 1: Financial companies have predicted that UK would move into recession in 2023 due to the losses
incurred during Covid. Write a newspaper report on reasoning UK’s decision in 80 words with correct
spelling and good use of grammar.

Task 2: Dubai is coming up with its mega project ‘Burj Jumeirah’. Write an introductory paragraph of
newspaper report on upcoming mega project in Dubai. The report should be to the point and
contain evidences from the text footing your personal opinion.
Task 3 - Your school has celebrated the science week ‘Innofest’ write a report that will be featured in KJ
or Gulf news. Report to be written in 100 words with appropriate evidence,use data from both
the reports and research on the third prompt
