DESCRIPTION
1. With refer to above mention; based on site observation this issue is very serious. Sub-contractor must educate your worker to attend weekly toolbox meeting to do training and give awareness on safety issue.
2. Lack of the supervision by your party can make this issue still repeating without any awareness or concern from your workers, we need cooperation from your party to attend and to assist all the safety instruction and comply with safety requirement as per Occupational safety and health act 1994, under part iv general duties of employers and self-employed persons, Section no 15 (1) applied to all employer and Occupational safety and health act 1994, under part vi general duties of employee, Section no 24 (1) (c) applied to all workers involved with project.
3. Safety department will be continued to issue penalty based on the penalty of schedule if this issue still repeating, based on our Company Schedule of Offence: Failure to attend safety meeting,briefing,induction and/or other safety programs - RM500
4. Any violation to this legal requirement by your company, our management has the right to penalize your company and the amount will be deducted from your claim submission.

PART VI GENERAL DUTIES OF EMPLOYEES 15. General duties of employers and self-employed persons to their employees. 24. General duties of employees at work. (1) It shall be the duty of every employee while at work- (1) It shall be the duty of every employer and every self-employed person to ensure, so far as is practicable, the safety, health and welfare at work of all his employees. (a) to take reasonable care for the safety and health of himself and of other persons who may be affected by his acts or omissions at work; (2) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), the matters to which the duty (b) (b) to co-operate with his employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty or requirement imposed on the employer or that extends include in particular- other person by this Act or any regulation made thereunder; (a) the provision and maintenance of plant and systems of work that are, so far as (c) (c) to wear or use at all times any protective equipment or clothing is practicable, safe and without risks to health; provided by the employer for the purpose of preventing risks to his safety and health; and (b) the making of arrangements for ensuring, so far as is practicable, safety and (d) (d) to comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety absence of risks to health in connection with the use or operation, handling, and health instituted by his employer or any other person by or under storage and transport of plant and substances; this Act or any regulation made thereunder.
