How To Diagnose Differential Protection Issues When All Protective

This document provides troubleshooting steps for differential protection issues in arc flash scenarios. When a 87 relay function is not tripping as expected even after checking protective device options, check that the CT components are in service by enabling the "ID" display option in the one-line diagram. This will identify any CTs marked as out of service. Additionally, check that the "Current Summer" option is unchecked under the input tab of the relay editor.
