of you is because it is much related to our topic since a
movie or a story is an example of literature or literary
piece.
Let me present first our lesson objectives.

 Literature refers to a body of written works such


as poetry, novels, history, biography, and essays
that reflects the background of a certain culture.
 It is derived from the Latin word litaritura which
means “writing formed with letters” Literature is
characterized as a work of art, written or spoken
especially those considered having a visionary
or exquisite merit, in other words a lifelong
value.
 Generally speaking, literature is a way for us to
know and learn the voices of history and carry
out with the present through heritage.

And what do you mean by Heritage? Please read the

 Heritage is the legacy handed down by previous
generations. It can be a unique identity of people
such as values and traditions. Heritage falls
under two main categories: tangible and
intangible.
Literary heritage can be understood as a part of a
people's or communities intangible heritage, highlighting
the close relationship existing between literary tradition,
people and identity.
