This document is the thesis submitted by Fida Muhammad for the degree of Bachelor of Architecture from NED University of Engineering and Technology in Karachi, Pakistan. The thesis explores how architecture can be inspired by nature. It discusses how nature can inform architectural design at the organism, behavior, and ecosystem levels. It presents case studies of buildings that took biomimetic approaches, such as Renzo Piano's IBM Traveling Pavilion. The thesis will analyze the findings to develop policy recommendations and parameters for designing buildings influenced by nature. It will then take the design process from concept to implementation and appraisal to learn lessons that can guide further research into nature-inspired architecture.

ABSTRACT
My thesis is related to nature inspirations. Nature in the broadest sense is natural world or
physical world .We can inspire from nature in different aspects. Nature tells us about
nature’s principle ,proportions, and all other elements .we can inspire in term of
FORM,GEOMETRY , ENVIRONMENTLY AND AS WELL AS CONCEPTUALY( THAT CAN
NOT B SEEN PHYSICALLY .we can inspire through feel of different space and environment
. mean we can inspire from different nature elements in different natural aspects.

“Look deep into nature and then u will understand everything better” ALBERTI

“Nature is my manifestation of God got to nature everyday for inspiration in the days work.
I follow in building the principle which has used in its domain”
FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT

We need to use nature and inspire nature because nature is the best example of inspiration
and we can feel presence of ALLAH in nature. Nature include geology, atmosphere
(climate and weather), water on earth (ocean, lake, pond etc.), ecosystem (wilderness,
relationship between human and nature), life (plant and animals), matter and energy,
beyond earth.

“NATURE inspires architects to turn abstract idea into real-world design.

We observe organic composition (NO, GEOMETRY, PROP., HIERARCHY &
ORIENTATION).”
COMPOSITION IN ARCHITECTURE (BOOK)

The output of exploring forms from nature is aesthetic, environmental friendly, low cost ,
awareness of forms to architects/students and common public too, awareness of nature .To
have multiple option of exploring forms/space or physical appearance of building will be
primary criteria of architects.

In our context it is necessary to build structure according our environment to minimize the
future crises and to understand the importance of nature. It is also important to have
different options of exploring forms in architecture for that nature is the best example and
nature has all solution to increase the living standard of people.
