Conclusion Training
Based on the interview session that we had with the manager of the Human Resources
Department of the training and development report for the Bera District Council, there is a clear
need for significant improvements in the organization's training and development programs. The
interviewed session identified several key areas where employees require additional training and
development, including leadership development, technical skills, communication skills, and
customer service. They also often used International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that
develop standards to ensures the quality, safety, and efficiency of product, services and systems.
The officer also state that they used 5S which is set , sort , shine , sustain the cycle and
standardize to implement the methodology in training and development of the employees.
Additionally, the current training and development programs are not adequately meeting the
needs of employees and are not aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. There is a
lack of coordination and integration between different training programs, resulting in duplication
of efforts and inefficient use of resources. Plus, in managing training and industrial development
there are several challenges that the management has to deal with, which is the behavior and
discipline of the industrial training participants. they need to use disciplinary methods to ensure
their discipline is maintained
To address these issues, it is recommended that the Bera District Council takes a more strategic
and coordinated approach to training and development. This may involve conducting a
comprehensive needs assessment to identify the specific training needs of employees and
developing a comprehensive training plan that is aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
It is also recommended that the council invest in training and development resources, such as
technology and skilled trainers, to ensure that employees receive high-quality training and
development opportunities. Other than that, the council also can provide a conducive place for
industrial training participants while they are taking training and development courses to provide
comfort and improve their morale. Additionally, the council should establish performance
metrics to measure the effectiveness of training programs and continuously evaluate and adjust
programs based on feedback from employees.
Last but not least, the Bera District Council must make significant improvements in its training
and development programs to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge needed to
meet the evolving demands of their jobs. By taking a strategic and coordinated approach to
training and development, the council can improve employee performance, increase productivity,
and ultimately achieve its strategic goals.
