CHECKLIST FOR DIVORCES

HIGH COURT:

1. Create new case on Court Online


2. Upload Combined summons
3. Receive email
4. Check Court Online for case number
5. Download summons with case number
6. Print out cover page and pages for service
7. Make 3 copies (original – court, service and office copy)
8. Ensure cover page updated on all bundles
9. Type letter to Sheriff for service
10. Send Court Copy and clients copy to Sheriff for service
11. File office copy
12. Pay Sheriff
13. Return of Service – upload on Court Online

FAMILY ADVOCATE ENDORSEMENT

1. Type letter to Family Advocate (2 copies)


2. Include original Settlement Agreement
3. Attach copy of Return of Service
4. Send Court copy of the Combined Summons
