The adoption of Gulayan sa Paaralan (GPP) in all public schools serves as a solution to fight
malnutrition among students, while championing the cultivation and consumption of
vegetables as a key element in sustaining public health. This initiative supports the
government's efforts to address hunger, and guarantees a continuous supply of vegetables
for the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP).

With this premise, the Schools Division of Tandag City, is writing to express our strong
desire to request for technical assistance in support of Jacinto P. Elpa National High
School, located at Barangay Telaje, Tandag City. Our school has the potential to be a
leader-school in implementing urban gardening but has experienced deficiencies in terms of
resources and equipment to start the implementation.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could provide technical assistance and support to
attain the aforementioned necessities. We assure you that the support extended by your
office would be crucial in helping our school fulfill the mandates in addressing malnutrition
in the community.
