The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, effective 1st October 2006, is applicable to ALL UK Businesses, which can be inspected by the Fire Authorities for compliance, non compliance may result in substantial fines and closure of part or all of your workplace and even imprisonment. The "responsible person/s" must manage any fire risk on the premise, and to do this he/she/they need to carry out a fire risk assessment. We offer a full Fire Risk Assessment service by our dedicated team who will visit your premise to carry out a complete and full fire risk assessment that meets the requirements of The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
The Fire Risk Assessment will generally follow the principles contained within The Fire Safety Risk Assessment Guidance Documents which recommend a five-step approach:

Emergency First Aid Course
This one day course is suitable for workplaces classed as lower-risk, and those with fewer than 100 employees. This CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work is accredited by Ofqual, and will enable successful candidates to act as a first aider in the workplace and deal with first aid issues calmly and confidently.

CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW).
Fire Marshals/Wardens in the Workplace Course
This Fire Marshals/Wardens Training Course (maximum 3.5 hours) is designed to provide fire marshals/wardens with an understanding of the importance of fire safety and their duties so that they are able to act in a competent manner in the event of a fire.

Each course ends with a comprehensive practical extinguisher handling program with a "real" fire training exercise on a portable, environmentally friendly, propane fuelled fire simulator. Each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance. The real fire training is dependent on site safety issues and client insurance

Ofqual accreditation: Ofqual reference: 500/7534/2 Level: 2 Pre-requisite: None Successfully completing the CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work course will qualify candidates to become a first aider in their workplace. In addition to receiving a certificate, each successful candidate will receive a wallet-sized ID card, stating that they are a qualified first aider.
