Performance Task 3
From among the five phases of Teaching Internship, which seems to be difficult? Why?
The third portion of my teaching internship appears to be the hardest for me. In phase 3,
it is primarily focused on aiding my cooperating teacher in completing teaching-related duties,
checking seat work and performance tasks, and completing school forms, which appears tough
for me because some of the chores, particularly the school forms, are unfamiliar to me. Though it
is difficult, my cooperating teacher is very kind and patient in guiding me through my tasks.
WRITING MY REFLECTION
How can I enjoy my Teaching Internship to the fullest?
I can make the most of my teaching internship by having fun while learning alongside my
students. To enjoy this journey, I must make friends with my students while also ensuring that
there is mutual respect between the instructor and the students. I need to give my best in all tasks
that I will intend to do.

1/01/23
We were deployed at Isabela National High School today and had orientation with the principal,
dean, and head of the MAPEH, but unfortunately, Sir Jun had an emergency, so Sir Jimmy was
the one who assisted us. After the orientation with the heads, Sir Jimmy took us to the MAPEH
faculty and introduced us to the other MAPEH teachers as well as our cooperating teachers. I
met my cooperating teacher, Ma’am Cherry Ann Manalo, and after that, she told me about the
grade level she’s handling, and she told me that tomorrow I'd accompany her so that I could meet
all the students in grade 10 that she’s handling.
2/01/23
Today, I assisted Ma’am Cherry Ann in Grade 10 with six sections, and she let me introduce
myself to the students, and she was doing the grades of the grade ten students because their
report cards were due on Friday. Ma’am Cherry Ann allowed me to spend time getting to know
the students; so that I could learn a little bit about them while she’s busy making their grades.
Learning Task 2 – Doing Observation of Classes, Pre-Observation and Pos-Observation
Performance Task 1 – Observing the teaching – learning process in Flexible Learning and
different Distance Learning Modes (online, radio-based instruction, television-based
instruction, and other modalities) focusing on the development of the MELCS and
reflecting on these processes.
After observing the classes of your Cooperating Teacher whether in face-to face or
distance delivery mode, what aspects in the instructional cycle, do you think you are now
capable of doing and the areas you still need to improve on?
I can say that my cooperating teacher is a terrific and adaptable teacher after observing her class.
I learned a lot of methods, approaches, and instructional materials that I can apply to my teaching
when I eventually become a real teacher. Establishing learning objectives, creating
learning opportunities, and assisting students with their learning are components of the
instructional cycle that I believe I can do.

Performance Task 2 – Assisting the Cooperating teacher in preparation and implantation of class
guidelines for holding classes through distance learning modalities. During asynchronous or
modular class sessions, what routines can you suggest to the parents so that their children will
have more effective learning outcomes? Design an effective class routine outline which parents
can use at home.
- Set up a daily family routine, including healthy eating and sleeping habits.
- Provide a place and time at home for homework.
- Check on assignments, homework, and projects.
- Talk each day with your child about his/her activities.
- Promote literacy by reading to your child and by reading yourself.
- Limit and monitor TV watching, gaming, social media, and computer time.
- Express high expectations and standards for your child’s learning
- Attend parent-teacher conferences, Open House, and Back-To-School events.
- Participate in decisions that affect your child’s education.
- Tap into community resources with visits to a library, museum, zoo, or theater and
encourage participation in after-school clubs, sports, and art activities.
- Engaged parents are a key factor in helping students and schools succeed. With families,
schools, and communities working together as partners, student achievement is enhanced,
and children are better prepared to do well in school.
Performance Task 3 – Read the different situations below and suggest a positive and non-violent
way to address the student’s behavior.
Case no 1. Jacob is a new student in your school. He does not seem to fit well with the other kids
who have already established friendships with other kids. This result in Jacob being aloof and
withdrawn. He does not participate in class discussions and seems uncomfortable during group
activities. You know he is smart because his written works are almost always done perfectly.
How will you help Jacob?
- I will help Jacob improve his social abilities. I will advise him on how to handle potential
social situations. This might be as simple as him encouraging others to establish eye
contact and be pleasant.
Case no 2. Mia is a smart student but is very talkative. She is always out of turn and this results
in disruptions during class. She usually tells her seatmates stories which are irrelevant from the
topic being discussed. How will you help Mia?
- I will help her by moving closer to Mia, and I will assist her with her misbehavior. I'll
stand next to or behind her desk. Sometimes, but not always, I place my hand on her
shoulder and continue our conversation.
WRITING MY REFLECTION
Complete the statement:
Having effective class routines and sound class structure is important because:
It prepared and conditioned students for the lessons and discussions. Furthermore, it improves
the flow of the class for both teachers and students by aligning the things they need and are
expected to do. It also aids in the creation of smoother transitions between tasks, resulting in less
disturbances. Another thing is that it saves time for the teachers and allows them to focus on the
content of the lesson rather than the structure because of predictable routines. On the other hand,
students thrive and behave when they know the boundaries, thus focusing on their performance.

list of online teaching tools that can help facilitate the teaching and learning process.
Choose one (1) of the featured online teaching-learning tools and list down some
important take-aways. You may list down some advantages and disadvantages of your chosen
tool.
Name of the Online Teaching Tool: Google Classroom
Short Description: Google Classroom is a virtual classroom that makes learning easy and fun.
Teachers can integrate educational apps or websites and create interactive assignments. They can
also go paperless and grade students within a few minutes. Additionally, they can create a
separate drive folder for assignments, grade sheets, and attendance sheets. Finally, they can host
parent-teacher meeting sessions online from their homes. Google Classroom offers a complete
solution for online teaching.
Advantages Disadvantages
Easy to use and accessible from all devices. Difficult account management.
Effective communication and sharing. Limited integration options.
Speeds up the assignment process. No automated updates.
Effective feedback. Difficult learner sharing.
No need for paper. Editing problems.
Clean and user-friendly interface. No automated quizzes and tests.
Great commenting system.
WRITING MY REFLECTION
Answer the given question below:
How do instructional materials and ICT tools help students learn more effectively and
efficiently.
The main knowledge that students will encounter, acquire, and apply throughout a course
is provided via instructional materials. For optimal effect, they must be properly planned,
selected, structured, developed, and used in a course. To improve student learning, planning and
selection should include both breadth and depth of information.

Differentiate instruction benefits our learners because it allows instructors to engage with
students who have varied learning styles. A class lecture may not be effective with all pupils; a
