Course Description:
Students have already been familiarized units of pressure, temperature, density, mass, and moles, SI and English,
and to use conversions. This course proceeds with usage of thermodynamic tables and diagrams and application of
Ideal Gas Law. Further differences of heat and work, and adiabatic and isenthalpic processes are discussed. Also,
meaning of efficiencies in turbine, and engine are discussed. Finally, at the end calculations relating to simple
power and refrigeration cycles are performed.
