1. Knowing the salient features of the theories of Erickson and Freud what may be a few of
thesis implications for beginning teachers?
Answer:
For beginning teachers in the future these two well-known theories of development of
psychosexual theory by Sigmund Freud and the psychosocial theory by Erik Erikson are crucial
for us. Erikson's theory was different in a number of significant ways, despite the fact that he was
influenced by Freud's views. Erikson's theory describes the effects of social experience
throughout the entire life of the student, in contrast to Freud's conception of psychosexual
phases. These theories can help us in the future to determine the fact that children develop in
stages that can be predicted and have distinguishing traits. In order to show this growth, a child
should achieve specific developmental discovery. The knowledge of these milestones is
necessary for professionals like us in the future working with learners, such as future teachers.
The students' developmental stage must be considered in all lessons and activities, which is one
of the important implications in the field of teaching. The child needs to be well trained or get
knowledgeable at these stages in order to develop a responsible person in future.

Answer:
Moral education must be a part of the school curriculum at all levels from primary to
tertiary because there is one simply reason, and this is that morality is the basic foundation of the
people to live in this world. As a human beings, we must uphold to know or determine what are
the right and wrong. It is our nature as a human being. From a young age of the human being
like everyone of us, the children or the learners are be able to get exposure to different learning
from the concept of disciplines that are connected to their moral aspect. it also helps in
developing their critical thinking among the learners as they tend to become more rational and
understanding of the situation around them.
I think the probable challenges that the school might face on giving emphasis to the
moral development at schools is that getting criticism to those people that are not agree to the
moral education exposed in curriculum. It is because the learners in our country are diverse, they
have many difference in terms of their background especially to their cultural morals. One of the
example of this is that the school are teaching that according to the morality that has been
recognized by the majority, and there is a instances that the other learners which is those things
are not their basis of morality in their background. So the system of education or the curriculum
itself must considered that differences of the learners in terms of their morality from their
backgrounds.

2. New reports show that there are students who have suicidal tendencies or have
committed suicide. Suggest two concrete activities that would help students to realize the
value of life.
Answer:
Nowadays, the main cause of death for young people in school is suicide. Many of this
issues has been circulated in all platforms of media. The latest suicide that I hear from the news
is in one of the prestigious university in Cebu. The student has been jump from the 9 th floor of
the building. In myself it is very sad news and very painful for the family of the student.
However, suicide can be avoided in many ways. Young people who are thinking about suicide
usually display indicators of despair. The best people to recognize these indications and seek
assistance are parents, teachers, and friends. The two concrete activities that I would suggest for
the students to realize the value of life are giving them a symposium about suicide prevention
and building a more connection or relationship between the teacher to students or student to
student interactions. These activities can help the students nowadays to realize that there lives
has a purpose on this world. If they feel connected to everyone with a healthy relations to others
it can give a positive impact or emotions to them and they might perform in school regularly and
participate different learning activities that can help them to be molded as a responsible citizens
and learners of the society.

3. If you were to critic the application of Kohlberg’s theory to education, what


maybe its weakness or loopholes? Explain your answer.
Answer
: If I were the critic, maybe its weakness is the conflict with other moral
standards of other cultures or beliefs. One of the examples of this is the
implementation of the morality of the majority for everyone, even though
they don't even notice that there is a difference in the origin or
background of the people who depend on or live in that area.
